After Xu Qiaoqiao left this space, the content on the virtual panel disappeared, and a progress bar appeared in its place.
...
Xu Qiaoqiao felt as if she had fallen into a very long sleep, and all she knew was that she had entered the next world. This feeling was very strange, and she felt sticky all over.
Could it still be in its mother's tummy?
Xu Qiaoqiao hesitated for a while, and after she was able to adapt to the environment, she began to think about what the system had said.
Will Junjun be in this world?
This backup system is completely different from the previous system; it can handle similar animals. So, will it be the same kind this time too?
If they were of the same kind, what kind of animal would they be?
Xu Qiaoqiao was a little excited. She had felt a little excited when she entered a new world before, but she was never as excited as she was this time.
She felt a lot of anticipation for what was to come. With this feeling in mind, Xu Qiaoqiao spent a lot of time in the dark, often falling asleep.
When the light appeared before her, Xu Qiaoqiao had a rough idea of what was going on, along with the sound of the waves and the enormous creature in front of her.
However, in the sea, the light was dim, and her vision was not clear. She only knew that the other party was a very powerful beast.
A giant sea monster! Wow! Xu Qiaoqiao couldn't contain her excitement. She did several somersaults in the seawater, unable to control her body, as if she was about to be swept away by the sea.
Oh, Mom, help me!
Please help me!
Xu Qiaoqiao wanted to shout, but found that she couldn't make a sound at all. She desperately shook her fragile little tail, trying to steady herself, but it was all in vain.
What happened? Why did they just leave like that?
Don't you care about your own baby anymore?
Xu Qiaoqiao was shocked. What kind of animal was this? Why wouldn't it care about its own cubs? This didn't make sense!
Even if the cub is allowed to become independent, she is still just a newborn cub. It would be lucky if she survived and became independent.
The current situation has successfully helped Xu Qiaoqiao emerge from her previous sadness; she certainly doesn't want to die right at the start.
Since her mother didn't care, she could only try harder herself. Xu Qiaoqiao tried to recall how she swam when she was a blue whale, so she could better adapt to her surroundings.
Ee-yah-yah, keep trying, keep trying.
Qiaoqiao, keep up the good work!
Xu Qiaoqiao frantically wagged her tail, watching the current and trying to steady herself, while keeping an eye on the large whale shark not far away.
Watching the large fish disappear into the distance, Xu Qiaoqiao wanted to follow it, partly out of a natural dependence on her mother, and partly because she really had no ability to protect herself. She figured she might as well stick with it.
The moment Xu Qiaoqiao saw the other person's size and appearance, she instantly knew what animal she was dressed as. She would never forget that square face: a whale shark.
This is one of the gentlest fish, and its diet is similar to that of the blue whale, consisting of marine plankton, giant algae, krill, and small free-swimming animals (such as small squid and vertebrates).
This time it does have teeth, but whale sharks' teeth aren't very useful; they don't use their teeth for foraging.
However, the waves were significantly larger than before, and although the whale shark mother wasn't swimming against the current, she was slightly off course, which greatly reduced Xu Qiaoqiao's chances of catching up.
This whale shark mother felt that her baby had grown a lot in her womb, and the surrounding environment was also suitable, so she gave birth to her baby here.
But who knew that the weather at sea could change so quickly? Just moments ago it was sunny and clear, but now a storm has started.
Waaaaah~ I'm going to miss it.
They could no longer see each other.
Xu Qiaoqiao felt her tail was wagging until it was tired, but it was no use. The storm was churning the seawater, and she could feel the seawater churning all around her, leaving her no free time at all.
What kind of mess is this?!
She was a newborn baby whale shark, only 40 centimeters long. In such a big wave, even some small and medium-sized fish would be swept away.
Not to mention Hsu Chiao-Chiao.
Xu Qiaoqiao felt dizzy and disoriented, as if she were inside a washing machine, unable to stop.
She had been thinking about whale sharks when she lost focus and found herself swept away by the waves. Forget about keeping her balance, she could barely move.
In the moments before she fell into a coma, Xu Qiaoqiao only wanted to give the middle finger to the sea. Did she have a grudge against the sea? She had suffered a little bit of a hardship from the sea last time.
Hopefully, I'll survive this time.
Xu Qiaoqiao held onto a hopeful thought: she hadn't found Junjun yet. If she failed the mission in this world and went to the next world, she would miss Junjun.
July is the height of summer.
Located on the Caribbean coast of Belize, this reef has a tropical climate and is home to a variety of rare marine animals.
This area was once a major fishing and trading center. The Belize Barrier Reef is the world's second largest living coral reef, second only to Australia's Great Barrier Reef, and is the longest coral reef in the Western Hemisphere.
This is also a favorite spot for whale sharks, where they hunt for the eggs of giant Brazilian snapper, as the temperature is ideal for their activity.
Whale sharks have almost no natural predators, but their current numbers are still very small, partly due to human activity. It is reported that in the past eighty years, the number of whale sharks has decreased by 50%, with only about 7,000 wild individuals remaining.
