Chapter 363 - The Bear and the Fox

Xu Qiaoqiao looked into Jun Qi's eyes and, as if by some strange twist of fate, she understood the meaning he was conveying.

Dating?

She couldn't help but call out.

Jun Qi also made a "yi yi" sound, and squatted down there like Xu Qiaoqiao usually did, even stretching out one of his paws, waiting for the little fox's reply.

Yes, let's go on a date together.

Looking into Jun Qi's clear eyes, Xu Qiaoqiao felt a sweet warmth in her heart. A date wasn't out of the question, and besides, she was really looking forward to her date with this polar bear.

"Gaga." Great!

Xu Qiaoqiao laughed, raised one of her paws, and placed it in Jun Qi's paw.

Jun Qi moved his fingers and tightened his grip on the little fox's paw.

"Ugh!"

For the two of them, every day could be considered a date.

This time, it's just given a formal name.

In early March, the sky was still pitch black, and the Arctic was still in the midst of polar night.

Xu Qiaoqiao and Jun Qi walked side by side, unaware of where they were going next. It was rare for the two of them to walk quietly like this, especially since it was winter and there had been heavy blizzards here.

Therefore, Xu Qiaoqiao doesn't like to move around.

Before that, the two of them were always on the move. The last time they were quietly together, taking walks and having meals, was half a year ago.

As they walked, Jun Qi suddenly raised his head, sniffing the scent carried on the wind. His eyes lit up, and he leaned down to Xu Qiaoqiao's face, murmuring something.

Xu Qiaoqiao looked into his bright eyes, which seemed to be saying: Darling, I can smell seals (or other delicious food). Are you hungry?

He ended by expressing this euphemistic meaning.

When Jun Qi asked that, Xu Qiaoqiao seemed to be a little hungry. After all, she remembered that she hadn't eaten anything else since she and Jun Qi came out, and her stomach was empty.

"OK!"

Xu Qiaoqiao nodded heavily at Jun Qi, then responded to his action by sniffing her nose against her boyfriend's kiss. The action looked incredibly gentle.

She thought about it and realized that having a meal was a regular part of a date, and she really needed to fill her stomach right now, so she happily agreed.

Sensing the little fox's response, Jun Qi was filled with fighting spirit, thinking that he must catch this seal, otherwise he would definitely make a fool of himself.

It might even disappoint the little fox.

Although, the little fox could never be disappointed in him.

Jun Qi smelled the enticing scent in the air and carefully walked forward. His ears were a little foggy, but the scent carried on the wind was getting stronger and stronger.

Seeing Jun Qi's cautious movements, Xu Qiaoqiao slowly followed. She slightly increased the distance between herself and Jun Qi so that she could observe his actions more clearly.

Jun Qi carefully walked forward, lowering his body to avoid being spotted by his prey. His sharp eyes were fixed on the figure ahead, an injured seal that had just escaped a chase.

Blood was flowing from its tail as it slowly crawled out of the puddle, looking quite helpless.

If Xu Qiaoqiao were human, she would probably feel pity for the seal. Unfortunately, she isn't, and she's an Arctic fox who has already eaten several seals. When she looks at this animal now, all she thinks about is whether its meat tastes good and whether it's fatty.

After all, seals are a very tempting food for many animals.

Jun Qi proceeded very carefully, but even with the utmost caution, the seal, still injured, was easily startled by the slightest disturbance.

He yelled and tried to run into the puddle because he sensed the presence of the unfamiliar polar bear.

Seeing that the seal had spotted him, Jun Qi quickly sped up and ran forward. The moment the seal fell into the water, he lunged forward, half his body submerged, and bit the seal's tail hard.

In Xu Qiaoqiao's view, the seal was shaking violently, trying desperately to escape from the polar bear's jaws, but it was all in vain. Jun Qi slapped its nose with one paw, then quickly released his mouth and bit off the seal's neck.

The entire process took less than ten seconds.

It's very fast.

"Gaga!" Junjun is so awesome!

Xu Qiaoqiao jumped up and down excitedly, praising Junjun without reservation.

Jun Qi looked quite aloof. He calmly licked the bloodstains from his lips and claws, as if to say: It's nothing.

However, the little fox's current state amplified Jun Qi's vanity. He huffed a few times arrogantly, dragged the seal ashore, and then waved to the little fox: Darling, come here!

Xu Qiaoqiao smiled and ran over lightly, leaping into Jun Qi's arms with the last step.

That's awesome!

This seal is quite large even among seals, and it must have a lot of fat on its body. Xu Qiaoqiao couldn't help but drool as she thought about it. She watched Jun Qi tear the seal apart, clearly looking forward to it.

Xu Qiaoqiao looked at the meat being offered to her mouth, then glanced at Jun Qi. She saw that his eyes were bright, and he was holding up the meat, his meaning clear: he wanted to feed her.

Xu Qiaoqiao: ...
