Chapter 367 - The Bear and the Fox

At the tail end of autumn, in November, the first snow of the second half of the year began to fall.

At this time, Xu Qiaoqiao and Jun Qi had found a new home, and the new home was many times larger than the previous cave, enough to hold a lot of things.

In addition to the things he had taken from the human dwellings earlier, Jun Qi had also taken quite a few things that he found interesting, including a small folding stool. When Jun Qi took this out of his bag, Xu Qiaoqiao's expression looked particularly strange.

When did he put this thing in his bag?

Then Xu Qiaoqiao looked at him in surprise as Jun Qi took out a folding stool from his bag, followed by some bread, a discarded light bulb, and even some candy!

When did this guy take it? I didn't even see it.

The zipper on this bag is faulty. Xu Qiaoqiao fixed it before, since the zipper pull is still there, it just won't close properly when you zip it up. But Jun Qi saw Xu Qiaoqiao fixing it and immediately learned how to do it.

Watching Jun Qi readily zip up his bag and begin organizing the belongings he took out, Xu Qiaoqiao fell silent. Perhaps her gaze was too conspicuous, for Jun Qi's back froze for a moment, then he turned around and met the little fox's bewildered eyes.

Jun Qi blinked, tilted his head, remained silent for a few seconds, then looked down at the candy in his hand, as if he understood something.

"Ugh."

So the little fox wanted candy.

The few candies in Jun Qi's hand were just things he had casually picked up from the human's cabin earlier; there weren't many, only five.

Here's some candy for you, little fox.

These candies are all for the little fox, but not all at once. The little fox has already eaten some candy today, but seeing how much he wants more, we'll give him one more.

Xu Qiaoqiao saw Jun Qi crawling towards her, then he stretched out a paw with a milk candy inside, the wrapper looking a little wrinkled.

Oh, milk candy!

Xu Qiaoqiao looked up at Jun Qi with bright eyes and couldn't help but smile.

"Ugh!"

Jun Qi raised his paw, signaling the little fox to quickly take the candy over.

Jun Qi always did the tidying up himself. Firstly, the little fox didn't like doing such things, and secondly, he enjoyed doing these trivial tasks, decorating his and the little fox's home, which made him very satisfied.

This year, due to their special circumstances, they did not migrate. Obviously, there are very few polar bears in Greenland at this time. However, as the temperature dropped, the first blizzard of the year arrived, striking the vast land, and the sea began to churn again.

Within just a few hours, the scenery had completely changed.

Because the food obtained from humans was plentiful and could be preserved for a relatively long time, Xu Qiaoqiao and Jun Qi stayed in the cave for quite some time. They only came out to look for food again after they had eaten all the food.

When I came out, the polar day had passed and the polar night had arrived. The aurora illuminated the sky, drifting lightly and emitting red, blue, green, and other colors of light, which intertwined to form a beautiful picture.

Xu Qiaoqiao rolled up all the packaging bags together, wrapped them in a plastic bag, and temporarily placed them at the door, since there was no trash can and she couldn't find anywhere to throw them away.

After finishing, Xu Qiaoqiao scooped up some snow, washed her paws, and then rubbed her face. Once she was clean, she jumped back in and playfully nudged Jun Qi's chin.

Junjun, let's go.

At this time, the ice on the sea surface had just begun to form, and a heavy fog was drifting across the sea.

Xu Qiaoqiao looked at the scenery on the sea and jumped up excitedly. She was still chewing on a milk candy. She ran forward a few steps, but suddenly remembered that Jun Qi was still behind her. She stopped and turned around, waiting for Jun Qi to walk towards her.

Today, when Junjun went out, she brought her favorite backpack again, and she looked especially well-behaved.

He slowly crawled to Xu Qiaoqiao's side, first bending down and rubbing his kiss against the little fox's face and soft ears, in a very affectionate manner.

"quack."

Finally, Xu Qiaoqiao couldn't take it anymore. She stopped Jun Qi's behavior. "Alright, we really should find some food. Aren't you hungry? Why are you still lingering here?"

She pressed her paw against Jun Qi's chin, her head shaking uncontrollably like a rattle drum.

Okay, let's go find some food first.

Jun Qi reluctantly withdrew his head and made a sound at Xu Qiaoqiao. Perhaps because Jun Qi was carrying a bag, Xu Qiaoqiao no longer wanted to wrap her arms around his neck.

As she walked through the familiar pine forest, Xu Qiaoqiao suddenly noticed something was wrong. She stopped and turned around to look back, where it seemed as if a small tail was following her.

This gave Xu Qiaoqiao a somewhat familiar feeling.

Seeing Xu Qiaoqiao suddenly stop, Jun Qi also stopped and looked back, mimicking her movements. Jun Qi naturally sensed the unfamiliar aura, but the owner of the aura was too weak, so Jun Qi didn't care at all.

"Huh?" What's wrong?

Jun Qi looked at Xu Qiaoqiao with a puzzled expression, not understanding why the little fox had suddenly stopped.

As Xu Qiaoqiao smelled the scent carried on the wind, she suddenly felt a sense of familiarity, but she couldn't quite place it, so she stopped.

She glanced at the two Arctic foxes following behind her, acting suspiciously; they were clearly there to scavenge.
