Chapter 468 - The Gentle Giant Whale Shark

After the drone's feed cut off, everyone was clearly in low spirits, especially since the weather in the Arctic Ocean was terrible and the blizzards seemed much worse than usual this year.

Compared to the safety of the drone, they were more worried about how Jun and Qiao, the two little guys, were doing.

The storm was so powerful that even though they were only on the outskirts of the Arctic Circle, they felt its force. Although, in critical moments, the two of them could still hide underwater.

However, the waters where whale sharks live are not like that at all.

"Two willful fools." Vic thought of many bad things to say, but in the end he could only say this helplessly: Why go to the Arctic for fun?

It's all glaciers and snow there, what's so interesting about it? Besides, it's heavily polluted, and the fish there certainly won't taste as good as those from tropical waters.

“Yes, that’s too reckless.” One of his colleagues sighed, his expression not very good, and chimed in, “I hope they’re safe. The Arctic is just too cold for them.”

The blizzard looked like it was about to intensify, obscuring visibility and making the journey even more difficult.

They obviously cannot rashly set sail into the Arctic at this time.

...

Jun Qi noticed that Xu Qiaoqiao's gaze was a bit strange. He looked in the direction she was looking and saw a black, strangely shaped thing struggling inside the large rocks.

This thing... looks familiar.

Jun Qi tilted his head, his tail wagging back and forth, wondering where he had seen that thing before.

Due to the churning waves, the drone, now without power, is stuck on a reef. Half of its small wings are broken, indicating that the sudden storm has crippled it.

As the waves surged, the drone looked like a rootless duckweed, drifting aimlessly, appearing somewhat lost.

Qiaoqiao.

Jun Qi flapped his pectoral fins, his blank eyes staring at the drone. He thought for a few seconds, but still couldn't remember why it looked so familiar.

Qiaoqiao, what is that dark thing?

He leaned over and nuzzled Xu Qiaoqiao's lips, while pointing to the poor little guy over there, whose wings were almost broken.

Xu Qiaoqiao blinked, looking at the drone and trying to keep her body low as she considered whether she should take it.

The pectoral fins slowly waving, indicating: That's a drone, a human-made thing, the one I saw last time, don't you remember?

Hmm...

Jun Qi raised his head and began to think, recalling memories of that thing in his mind. Five minutes passed, but he couldn't come up with anything.

This is the memory of a fish.

Xu Qiaoqiao sighed inwardly, wagged her tail, patted Jun Qi's back, interrupted his train of thought, and said directly: "It's that little boat, the day you wouldn't let me get close, do you remember?"

Upon hearing this, Jun Qi's memory immediately surfaced. He narrowed his eyes slightly, swam a few steps forward, and then stared at the dark object. A very similar thing was slowly merging in his mind.

It seems I do have an impression of it.

While Jun Qi was reminiscing, Xu Qiaoqiao was still struggling with whether to take it or not. But if she did take it, there was nowhere to put it. She couldn't just keep it in her mouth forever.

That would be incredibly tiring.

I've got it!

Jun Qi suddenly slapped the water excitedly, rubbing his face against Xu Qiaoqiao's, and squinted his eyes with pleasure. He remembered that big, dark thing.

Seeing Xu Qiaoqiao turn her gaze over, Jun Qi shook his pectoral fins: "Was it when you followed this thing that day and then saw that ship?"

After saying this, Jun Qi paused for a moment, his tone somewhat puzzled: But, it feels like he's changed.

Jun Qi still can't understand the meaning of machines, and in his eyes there are only two main categories: edible and inedible.

Among the edible foods, they are divided into three categories: delicious, unpalatable, and so-so.

This dark, indistinct thing belongs to the category of things that cannot be eaten. It was Xu Qiaoqiao who told Jun Qi this, so that he wouldn't accidentally swallow the drone in his excitement.

Swallowing it isn't scary; the real problem is that it gets stuck there, neither going up nor down. That's why Xu Qiaoqiao warned very sternly from the beginning that this thing was not to be eaten.

Although Jun Qi's memory isn't great, he still listens to what his favorite fishy friend says.

Otherwise, it will be very difficult to coax her if she gets angry.

Jun Qi glanced at it, but since he remembered, there was no need to pay attention anymore. He continued to linger with Xu Qiaoqiao, pressing close to her. If the whale shark could make a sound, he would definitely be humming a little tune.

Or we should find a secluded place to store it. If we encounter any humans, we can return it to them. If we let this drone drift in the sea, it will probably be ruined in a few days.

After thinking of this method, Xu Qiaoqiao nodded in satisfaction. This was the safest approach, but she hoped that Junjun wouldn't be too interested in the drone this time.

Otherwise, it would be a bit funny to have to carry a drone around while playing, and she was really afraid that the thing might accidentally swallow it.

There's nothing I can do; she's so kind. Even though it has nothing to do with me, I can still lend a hand. These things aren't cheap, are they?

Thinking of this, Xu Qiaoqiao turned her head and rubbed her cheek against Jun Qi's. She stretched out her right pectoral fin to touch Jun Qi's pectoral fin, conveying her thoughts to him.
