About three weeks after the emperor penguin parents left, an uninvited guest arrived at their settlement.
The other creature was black and white with a distinct color scheme and was small in size, but it walked in a very exaggerated way, hopping and bouncing, and even its swaying frequency was greater than that of the emperor penguins.
They were extremely arrogant, walking around their settlement as if they were inspecting their own territory.
"Gah~ Gah~"
Xu Qiaoqiao peeked out from Jun Qi's side and looked at the Adélie penguin opposite. The penguin was not even as tall as Jun Qi, but she didn't know why it was so arrogant. It had just provoked several Emperor penguin chicks.
But how could the naughty little boy be a match for this rogue?
"Chirp chirp." Jun Qi also saw the emperor penguin and calmly watched its series of actions. Then he turned his head and nuzzled Xu Qiaoqiao's beak a few times. Qiaoqiao, who is that guy?
Xu Qiaoqiao blinked and replied, "It's an Adelie penguin, the rogue of the penguin world. Junjun, if you ever encounter one of these penguins, be very careful, or you'll get ripped off badly."
"Chirp chirp?" Rogue?
Jun Qi became somewhat interested. He glanced at the Adélie penguin again, and sure enough, it was still harassing the emperor penguin chicks. It couldn't beat or harass the adult emperor penguins, so it chose the cute and chubby chicks.
"Yeah, yeah, Adélie penguins are such scoundrels, shameless, they'll do anything bad!" Xu Qiaoqiao nodded, explaining this kind of penguin to Jun Qi.
Adélie penguins are widely distributed and are the most common penguins in Antarctica. They are also the animals with the southernmost breeding sites in the world.
Despite their small size, they love to fight and have no principles when it comes to doing things.
They carry many labels: "hooligan," "thief," "prostitute," and so on...
Unlike emperor penguins, Adélie penguins only have black and white fur. Although emperor penguins change mates every year, which is considered fickle by humans, compared to Adélie penguins, they are truly devoted and have a higher moral standard.
Moreover, they can chase after petrels, making them the honey badger of the penguin world.
At this point, Xu Qiaoqiao seemed to get a little excited. The animal kingdom is different from human society, and we shouldn't use human standards to judge the animal kingdom, but it's inevitable that we'll still bring some of those standards into our thinking.
Jun Qi noticed Xu Qiaoqiao's excitement, but he didn't know why she was excited. However, he could roughly guess that the information she was about to say was very interesting.

Before Jun Qi could react after Xu Qiaoqiao finished speaking, a childish cry came from the side. They both looked over and saw a baby emperor penguin staring at them with curious eyes.

Emperor penguins always communicate openly, and Jun Qi and Xu Qiaoqiao hadn't noticed it. Plus, emperor penguin chicks don't usually come around, so this little emperor penguin was just lucky enough to overhear Xu Qiaoqiao and Jun Qi's conversation.
Seeing their silence, the little emperor penguin took a few steps forward, wobbling, and stopped about 50 centimeters away from them. It squatted down and looked at them with its dark eyes.
"Chirp chirp." What is Old Wang next door?
Seeing the innocent Emperor Penguin, Xu Qiaoqiao fell silent. Jun Qi didn't react much, but intuitively, he felt that this word wasn't a good one.
Xu Qiaoqiao and Jun Qi looked at each other. She blinked and conveyed a message to Jun Qi: Jun Jun, shall we continue?
Jun Qi: "Chirp chirp." Let's continue, this guy won't understand anyway.
Xu Qiaoqiao blinked. That's right. Anyway, this guy can't understand it, so let's just keep talking.

The babies have never left this place since they were born. Now, suddenly encountering such thugs, they are completely bewildered and don't know how to deal with it. Usually, their little squabbles with their own kind are all very friendly.
This old rogue is different.
"Chirp chirp!"

The Adélie penguin kept calling out as it prepared to build its home in the summer. Clearly, it had chosen the Emperor Penguin colony, even though it wasn't very tall. After all, they were the most aggressive members of the penguin colony.
These Emperor penguin chicks, who didn't even know what fighting was, scattered and ran away even though there was only one Adélie penguin among them, not daring to confront it.
With its two chubby arms outstretched, the emperor penguin runs around aimlessly like a hen, much to the dismay of its caretakers.
So, faced with this situation, one of the caretakers finally couldn't hold back and took the initiative to teach the Adélie penguin a lesson. There was no way around it; the size difference between the two was too great, so disciplining it was a piece of cake.
