Side Story - Present World 5

Xu Qiaoqiao held up her umbrella and watched the students pouring out of the door, sharing one umbrella in twos and threes. Of course, many students were still trapped inside the building and had not brought any umbrellas.

A vast, densely packed area.

The chattering sounds continued, full of youthful energy.

Xu Qiaoqiao smiled slightly and said in a cheerful voice, "At the entrance of the teaching building, the largest door, there's a big black umbrella being held up."

"Stay there, I'll come find you," Jun Qi's calm voice came.

The students who watched Professor Jun's hurried figure and heard what he was saying displayed their love of joining in the fun to the fullest at this moment.

"Follow them! Follow them!"

"Hurry, hurry, hurry!"

"Hurry up, or you'll fall behind."

The students quickly followed.

As Jun Qi spoke with Xu Qiaoqiao, his pace quickened, avoiding the students he encountered along the way, and soon arrived at the gate where Xu Qiaoqiao was.

Pushing through the crowd, it was easy to spot the woman standing there holding an umbrella.

"Qiaoqiao." Jun Qi smiled and ran towards Xu Qiaoqiao before she could walk towards him.

He was running too fast, and the rain was quite heavy, but thankfully he didn't slip or fall, otherwise he would have been extremely embarrassed.

Jun Qi ran up to Xu Qiaoqiao with a silly smile on his face. Before Xu Qiaoqiao could say anything, he pulled her into his arms.

The students who followed: "!!!"

Oh my!

Hearing the students cheering behind her, Xu Qiaoqiao's face flushed again. She gently patted Jun Qi's head and said in a soft voice, "Okay, let's go home."

"Okay, let's go home."

Jun Qi let go of Xu Qiaoqiao, but still held her hand tightly. Hearing the cheers from the students behind him, he showed no embarrassment whatsoever.

He waved generously to the students: "Goodbye, students."

Goodbye, Professor Jun!

After saying that, Jun Qi took the umbrella from Xu Qiaoqiao's hand and slowly led her back.

The umbrella tilted at an angle for her.

“I made you some pork rib soup. My mom taught me how to make it herself. You have to drink it all.”

"good."

"Oh, by the way, your brother made a phone call this morning."

"Ignore him."

"good."

The two figures walked further and further away in the rain.

The sound disappeared into the sound of rain.
