"...Huh?! You promised... you promised."
Yun Ranran was originally planning to bargain again, but when she heard Jiang Yan agree directly, her tone became a little unresponsive.
Jiang Yan heard her stammering words and repeated them in a good mood.
"Yes, I agree."
Then he chuckled and said, "I'm not a harsh boss. I won't deduct the treatment my subordinates deserve. You will get the salary and benefits you deserve."
Yun Ranran was stunned for a moment when she looked at his smiling eyes, then she reacted, lowered her head and uttered two words awkwardly.
"Oh, okay."
The purpose of their conversation was initially achieved, and just at this moment the coffee shop clerk came over with the dessert that Jiang Yan had ordered earlier.
There were five or six desserts, filling the table for the two of them.
Jiang Yan looked at Yun Ranran, wondering what she was thinking. She sat there motionless with her head down, tapping the table lightly with her fingers, and said invitingly:
"Mr. Yun, don't you want to try it?"
When Yun Ranran heard this, she looked up at the desserts on the table, responded politely, raised her hand with a fork, took a piece and put it in her mouth to taste it.
The desserts taste good.
She had been busy all morning and was a little hungry. She wanted to have a small bite, but after finishing her meal, she ate some more unconsciously and ate half of the small dessert with sweet coffee.
Yun Ranran stopped eating when she was half full. Seeing that Jiang Yan hadn't said anything and hadn't eaten much, just sipping the coffee in front of him, she felt a little embarrassed.
At this moment, Jiang Yan said, "Let's go."
Yun Ranran stood up after hearing what he said. After leaving the coffee shop, the two of them walked forward. She asked with a hint of doubt on the way, "Jiang Yan, where are we going?"
Jiang Yan strode in front of her, tilted his head to glance at her and said, "Since we've already negotiated, it's natural to go sign the contract now. What's the matter? Does Yun have any questions?"
"……No."
"Then let's go."
Jiang Yan took her to a parking space on the side of the road and took out the car keys from his pocket. With two "beep" sounds, the headlights of the silver-gray sports car in the parking space flashed.
He walked forward, opened the car door and sat in the driver's seat. Seeing this, Yun Ranran also got in the car.
The car started and quickly merged into the traffic flow.
The place where Jiang Yan took Yun Ranran was a very conspicuous commercial office building in the prime location of Jiangcheng. As soon as she got off the car, she noticed the huge coordinates of the Galaxy Building outside the towering black office building.
Xingchen Building, headquarters of Galaxy Group.
As one of the top groups in Jiangcheng, Xinghe’s hotels and entertainment businesses are spread all over Jiangcheng. Yun Ranran has lived here since she was a child and has been exposed to it since she was a child.
She walked downstairs and looked at the huge office building in front of her, as well as the well-dressed and capable men and women coming in and out. She felt like a lamb that had strayed into a pack of wolves. She paused to look at Jiang Yan, but saw that Jiang Yan still had that distracted look on his face.
He looked relaxed as if he had just returned home. He closed the car door and walked in as if he was familiar with the way. Seeing this, Yun Ranran glanced at the unfamiliar surroundings, pursed her lips, and took two quick steps to catch up. She and Jiang Yan walked into the Galaxy Building one after the other.
The lobby paved with white marble, large floor-to-ceiling windows on all four sides, and the silver, white, and black tones give the interior of the Galaxy Building a clean yet oppressive and inviolable atmosphere.
Near noon, large swathes of sunlight shone into the building, making even the dust particles floating in the air clearly visible.
Yun Ranran walked in without stopping to take a closer look. She just took a quick glance and followed Jiang Yan forward without lagging behind. Then they took the elevator directly to the twelfth floor, and no one came up to stop them along the way.
With a "ding" sound.
The elevator door opened and Jiang Yan stepped out. Yun Ranran tilted her head slightly and looked around. She found that there was a frosted glass partition door at the corner of the 12th floor. There was a large gray carpet inside the door. The few visible workstations were empty, and the faint sound of keyboard tapping could be heard from time to time.
Inside were several partitioned offices with open doors. When the two walked in, they saw a young man in a suit coming out. Seeing the two of them, the man in the suit hurriedly came over with a white folder.
"Mr. Jiang."
The man in the suit spoke and nodded slightly to Jiang Yan.
"Well, come with me."
Yun Ranran saw Jiang Yan nod slightly, and even if she was slow to react, she realized that this place was Jiang Yan's family company. She had heard rumors at school before that Jiang Yan's family background was extraordinary, but she didn't expect that the rumor had been dispelled.
This family is not extraordinary, it's top-notch.
She followed behind and watched Jiang Yan lead her into an office and stop. He said to the man in the suit, "Right here. Print out a long-term employment contract for the personal assistant for me."
The man in a suit, wearing a pair of gold-rimmed glasses, adjusted the frames upon hearing this. His gaze swept over Yun Ranran, who looked out of place in this environment, and then he smiled and nodded in agreement: "Okay, Mr. Jiang."
The computer in the young man's office was on, with a printer next to it.
After hearing this, he sat down and printed out the contract very efficiently. The printer worked "buzzing" and a thick stack of paper was soon filled up.
Then, the man in the suit sorted out a stack of papers, divided it into two, and handed it to Jiang Yan, saying, "Mr. Jiang has printed it. This is the employment contract and a confidentiality agreement."
After saying this, seeing that Jiang Yan didn't say anything, he consciously retreated.
Jiang Yan and Yun Ranran were the only two people left in the office. Jiang Yan looked at Yun Ranran standing there with her fingers tugging at the edge of her skirt, pulled his lip and chuckled softly before saying:
"The employment contract is in duplicate. If there are no other problems, please sign it."
