Xuan Yu led the way, taking Ji Miaomiao and Taoist Master Daoming to a courtyard not far away.
Many injured people in the yard found a place to sit down. Xuan Yu continued to lead them into the front hall before stopping.
In the front hall, there were many people sitting crowded together, and most of the seats were occupied.
When Ji Miaomiao walked in, she even felt like she had nowhere to stay.
She frowned, somewhat puzzled by the situation, and saw Xuan Yu stop and turn around to explain, "Junior Sister Xuan Jing, the situation of the formation in the temple is unclear right now. The temple master has ordered us to stay here for the time being."
After saying that, Xuan Yu looked at the front hall that was almost overflowing with people and frowned: "Junior sister, come with me upstairs."
Master Ji Miaomiao and her disciple followed Xuan Yu up the stairs next to the front hall and entered the first room on the left on the second floor. It was empty, which was undoubtedly much better than the situation downstairs.
"Junior sister, you guys just stay here and rest first. Wait until the abbot comes out before going down. I have something else to do, so I'll leave first." Xuan Yu said.
After he finished speaking, he saw Ji Miaomiao nod, then turned and left.
In the room, Taoist Master Daoming sat down upon seeing this, but he didn't sit firmly and nearly fell to the ground, uttering a cry of surprise: "Ouch!"
"Master, what's wrong with you?" Ji Miaomiao was still thinking about the message in Xuan Yu's words. When she heard the voice, she quickly reached out to help and asked.
After Daoming Zhenren sat down, he waved his hand and sighed, "Nothing serious, it's just that he's getting old and his energy isn't up to par when things get tough."
Hearing this, Ji Miaomiao subconsciously looked at the darkening sky outside and realized that it was getting late.
She took out her cell phone and checked the time, and found that it was already nine o'clock in the evening.
Taoist Master Daoming woke up at around five in the morning, just like her. It was inevitable that she would feel sleepy. She said, "Master, it looks like everything is fine for now. You can go to bed and sleep for a while. I'll keep an eye on you."
"Okay, then I'll go to sleep first." Taoist Master Daoming was so sleepy that he felt dizzy. After hearing this, he hesitated and did not refuse.
In the room, Ji Miaomiao was meditating on the low couch, and Taoist Daoming was sleeping on the bed. After an unknown amount of time, there was a sound of footsteps downstairs.
Ji Miaomiao opened her eyes, stood up and walked out.
