Liu Ren was supported by his bodyguards and hurried down the mountain.
At the foot of the mountain, a black Rolls-Royce was parked low-key. He opened the door and got in, followed closely by several bodyguards. After everyone got in the car, the door was slammed shut.
As the car started, the black Rolls-Royce turned into a black shadow, drove onto the highway and headed straight for Chuan City.
After getting in the car, Liu Ren steadied his breathing, looked at the exorcism talisman he had just bought in his hand, came to his senses, looked up and asked the bodyguard in the front row of the car.
"How is the lady?"
"Mr. Liu, there is no news from home yet. There should be no changes on the young lady's side." The bodyguard in the front row turned his head and said respectfully.
"Yeah." Liu Ren nodded after hearing that. After taking the towel handed to him by the bodyguard in the back row, he casually wiped the sweat from his forehead. He frowned and said nothing, but there was worry in his eyes.

As time passed in the car, Liu Ren's expression became more and more unsightly, but he could only force himself to suppress it. He would look down at the watch on his hand from time to time. Fortunately, just before his patience ran out, the car finally arrived home.
A black Rolls-Royce stopped in front of a villa in a wealthy area of Sichuan City. The servant inside heard the sound and came out to greet him at the door.
The bodyguard opened the door and got out of the car. He turned around and offered his hand to help Liu Ren get out of the car. A servant came out and said respectfully, "Sir, you're back."
When Liu Ren heard this, he turned around and asked, "Where's the madam?"
"Madam..." The servant hesitated, then looked up to see Liu Ren glance at her and walk into the villa. Panicked, she hurriedly continued, "Madam has gone to see the young lady. She will stay upstairs and give orders... and tell everyone not to disturb her."
"Yeah." Liu Ren didn't stop when he heard this, but just responded lightly.
But when the maid saw this response, she calmed down despite being panicked and nervous. She followed Liu Ren into the villa. Several bodyguards got out of the car but did not go in. They stood guard at the door.
The villa is decorated in a light European style. The living room on the first floor is all off-white with large brightly colored cashmere carpets, which is very luxurious and elegant.
The dark wooden staircase leading to the second floor was covered with red carpet. After Liu Ren came in with the maid, they went straight upstairs. The footsteps of the two people fell on the carpet without making any sound.
A maid on the second floor was wiping the dust off the railings. Seeing Liu Ren, she quickly said respectfully, "Sir, you're back."
Liu Ren didn't respond, but pushed the door of the master bedroom on his left and walked in. The maid following him stopped and waited at the door.
In the bedroom, a middle-aged woman dressed as a noble lady sat on the bed and looked out the window. Her eyes were full of pain and there were traces of tears on her face. Her well-maintained face looked a little tired.
Hearing the sound of the door being pushed open, she quickly lowered her head and wiped away her tears. Then she turned around and saw that it was Liu Ren who came in. A look of joy appeared on her face and she said, "Old Liu, you're back."
Liu Ren also put aside his aggressive attitude in front of outsiders. He walked over and sighed, "Shulan, come with me to see our daughter."
"Daughter..." Li Shulan hesitated to speak, with a conflicted expression on her face.
Liu Ren also knew what his wife was worried about. He patted her hand and comforted her, "It's okay. I went out and bought the talisman paper this time."
Hearing this, Li Shulan's face showed some anticipation, tears flashed in her eyes, she looked up at her husband Liu Ren and nodded.
The couple walked out of the bedroom hand in hand. The maid at the door wanted to follow them, but Liu Ren gave her a look to indicate that she should not follow them.
The maid stopped walking when she saw this, and then understood what was happening as she looked at the direction the two men were going.
"Sir and Madam, you are going to see the young lady, right?" she guessed in her heart.
Liu Ren and his wife had no idea what the maid was thinking. They walked to a closed suite on the second floor and pushed the door open and walked in.
After opening the door, I saw a young man dressed as a doctor and two nurses sitting on the sofa at the door, holding medical records and discussing something.
"Doctor Lin, how is Ting'er now?" Liu Ren asked.
The young man called Doctor Lin looked up and saw Liu Ren and his wife. He stood up, adjusted his glasses, and said, "Miss Liu just got a sedative this morning. She'll probably be waking up soon."
There was a sigh in his words.
Liu Ren nodded, glanced at his wife beside him and said, "Doctor Lin, my wife and I are going to go see Ting'er now. Please come with us."
Dr. Lin nodded slightly and walked towards the bedroom in the suite.
The sun was shining brightly at this time, and the spacious bedroom decorated in pink was full of light and very bright. The exquisite curtains by the window floated gently in the wind.
