When she swam closer, she discovered that the shell was actually shaped like a small room. The walls were decorated with dozens of luminous pearls of various sizes, emitting a bright white light. The floor was covered with colorful pearls, and on top of them, there were structures similar to beds and seats.
Li Shushu turned her head to look at Ao Yan with some curiosity. Ao Yan understood and whispered in her ear, "This should be the residence of the mermaids."
"Ah?" Li Shushu had heard of mermaids in storybooks. She heard that they had human bodies and fish tails, were extremely beautiful, and had particularly sweet singing voices. Even their tears would turn into pearls when they fell to the ground.
