Chapter 10 After transmigrating into the female lead's adoptive mother, I'm not serving her anymore!

Then, Mo Ran realized what was happening and immediately threw off the blanket covering her.

When I saw that the body under the blanket was fully clothed, I breathed a sigh of relief, and my face was no longer as panicked as before.

Mo Ran tapped her head, trying hard to recall the memories of last night.

All she remembered was that after dancing at the bar last night, she went to the bar counter for a drink, and then got into a fight with a blond man who had harassed her while she was dancing.

She even slapped that person!

Later, someone wanted to fight back.

But it seems someone blocked our way?

Who is it?

Mo Ran tapped her head again, and after a moment, her mind suddenly cleared.

A fragment flashed through her mind, and Mo Ran suddenly remembered that it was her classmate who came to her rescue yesterday!

Northern Jiangsu!

What happened next is obvious; Su Bei probably took her to a hotel.

After figuring things out, Mo Ran felt relieved. Fortunately, she met Su Bei yesterday, otherwise it would have been difficult for her to escape.

Thinking of this, a warm feeling washed over Mo Ran, and her face flushed slightly.

Afterwards, Mo Ran found her phone on her person. When she turned it on, she saw more than twenty missed calls!

Some of them belonged to her homeroom teacher, and the rest belonged to her mother!

"It's already eleven o'clock!" After seeing the time on her phone, Mo Ran realized why she had received so many calls!

She skipped all her morning classes!

Afterwards, Mo Ran sent a text message to the homeroom teacher, and then called Mo Qian.

"Ranran, didn't you go to class today? Your homeroom teacher even came to see me."

After answering the phone, Mo Qian asked anxiously, her worry evident even through the phone screen.

"Mom, I had some stomach upset yesterday. I ate something that upset my stomach, so I went to see a doctor."

"Because it was too late, I didn't go back to school. I stayed at a hotel for the night and forgot to set my alarm, so I woke up late."

Mo Ran casually made up an excuse, her voice carrying a hint of coquettishness.

"Is it serious? Why is your stomach upset? Did you not eat properly?" Mo Qian asked from the other end of the phone, her voice tinged with urgency.

"I'm fine now. I just ate too much and felt a little bloated and had some indigestion, but I'm better now," Mo Ran added, a hint of embarrassment in her voice.

"That's good. Be more careful when you eat in the future. Don't eat so fast. Chew slowly and carefully," Mo Qian said, speaking with the tone of someone who had been through it all.

"Yes, yes, I remember, Mom. I'll be more careful in the future," Mo Ran assured Mo Qian after hearing her words.

"Director Mo, how about we modify this plan in the project?" Mo Ran heard a male voice coming from the other end of the phone.

From their conversation, it's clear they were discussing work.

"Wait a minute, I'll talk to you after I see it." Then, Mo Ran heard her mother's voice on the other end. There was a hint of seriousness in her voice.

"Ranran, you should study hard at school and listen to your teachers."

"Okay, I understand. Mom, you go ahead and do your work. I won't bother you any longer," Mo Ran said, her voice filled with a hint of obedience.

"Okay, call Mom if anything happens." Mo Qian's voice came from the phone receiver.

"Okay, I understand," Mo Ran finally replied.

Then the call ended.

After ending the call, Mo Ran relaxed and then packed her things before leaving the hotel.

Afterwards, I ate out first before rushing back to school.

After arriving at the school, with about ten minutes left before the end of the last class, Mo Ran went straight to the office.

Mo Ran first admitted her mistake to the homeroom teacher, then explained the reason for her absence. After listening to the homeroom teacher's lecture for a few minutes, Mo Ran was allowed to leave when the bell rang.

Afterwards, Mo Ran did not go straight back to her dormitory, but followed Su Bei after seeing him.

Then I followed him to the rooftop.

"It's you! What are you doing following me?!" After entering the rooftop, Su Bei sensed someone behind him and suddenly turned around.

I saw someone who was both unexpected and not unexpected, with raised eyebrows.

"Thank you for yesterday." Mo Ran said quickly after hearing Su Bei's words, seeing that Su Bei had noticed her.

His voice carried a hint of gratitude.

"Yes, you really should thank me. If you hadn't met me, you wouldn't be standing here alive today," Su Bei continued, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall.

"However, I really didn't expect that one of the class's top students would be in a bar. Mo Ran really surprised me."

Su Bei looked at Mo Ran's obedient appearance, raised his eyebrows, and said with a playful tone.

After hearing Su Bei's words, Mo Ran did not reply, but instead changed the subject.

"Thank you for putting me in a hotel for the night yesterday. How much is it? I'll transfer it to you," Mo Ran said, changing the subject.

"Do you want to add me on WeChat?" Su Bei asked, a hint of teasing in his voice, after noticing a slight blush on Mo Ran's face.

"No! I just wanted to pay you back!" Mo Ran blushed immediately after hearing Su Bei's words, and then she retorted, her voice rising several octaves.

"No need, you can go." After seeing Mo Ran's face turn bright red, Su Bei suddenly felt bored and said, his previous joking expression disappearing.

"No, you saved me, I can't let you pay for it again." Mo Ran said quickly after hearing Su Bei's words, her voice filled with determination.

"Whatever you want." After saying that, Su Bei leaned against a corner of the rooftop, closed his eyes to rest, and ignored Mo Ran.

After seeing Su Bei close his eyes, Mo Ran didn't make any noise to disturb him, and then, as if she had thought of something, she hurriedly left.

Su Bei, standing to the side, didn't react at all when he heard Mo Ran's footsteps as she left.

After a while,

A series of hurried footsteps slowly rose from afar.

A moment later, Mo Ran came to Su Bei again.

“Su Bei, you haven’t had lunch yet, have you? I bought you some bread. Have some to eat first.”

Mo Ran, panting from running quite fast, said this, her face flushed slightly.

Upon hearing Mo Ran's voice, Su Bei slowly opened his eyes. What came into view was a fair and delicate hand holding a bag of bread.

Su Bei then looked away and said coldly to Mo Ran.

"I'm not eating lunch! Take the bread back." There was a hint of indifference in her voice.

"How can you not eat? Don't be shy with me. You came here right after class, you must be hungry. Have some bread first."

Mo Ran then handed the bread towards Su Bei's direction with a smile on her face.

At this moment, Su Bei's expression turned somewhat unpleasant upon seeing Mo Ran's actions.
