After the original owner's father finished scolding him, the original owner's stepmother quickly spoke to Mo Yan.

"Alright, don't be angry. Didn't our son say he'd change?" The original owner's stepmother said, comforting the original owner's father. Her voice carried a hint of reassurance.

"Can you trust what that kid says? He always says the same thing, but when did he actually do it?" The original owner's father said with an ugly expression.

There was still a hint of anger in his voice.

“This time, I’ll give him a little more supervision. Seeing how scared he was by you today, I think he’ll change,” the original owner’s stepmother quickly added.

"That would be best!" the original owner's father said with a worried expression.

Originally, I wanted to cultivate Mo Yan well from a young age, but I never expected it to be so disappointing!
