Chapter 7 Transmigrated into a Cannon Fodder Female Supporting Character in a Historical Novel

"Big! Big! Big!"

"Small! Small! Make it small!"

...

In a simple room, about ten people were gathered around a table, playing dice.

Among them was Zhao Zhipeng, the youngest son of the village secretary.

"Ah! It's a big one! I won!" Zhao Zhipeng exclaimed with ecstasy.

Then, he took the money from someone else and put the winnings into his pocket.

"Brother, you're on a winning streak." The man next to Zhao Zhipeng gave him a thumbs up.

"It's alright, it's all luck," Zhao Zhipeng said modestly.

However, he was secretly pleased with himself.

"Luck is also a kind of strength. Brother, you have a talent for it. I'm so envious."

"Unlike me, I mostly lose more than I win," the man said dejectedly.

"You never know, he might get better later," Zhao Zhipeng offered a simple word of comfort.

After saying that, she decided not to pay him any more attention, since they were just strangers who had met by chance.

After that, Zhao Zhipeng played two more rounds.

"You've had quite a haul today," Zhang Da said with a smile as he approached Zhao Zhipeng.

"Thanks to Brother Zhang, I made some money. It's also thanks to you for bringing me to this great place, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to win any money," Zhao Zhipeng said quickly after seeing Zhang Da, his face still showing excitement.

I won those last few games. Although I lost some tonight, I won most of the time.

"You're just lucky; you were born to do this," Zhang Da praised.

"Come on, let's treat the brothers to drinks. If it weren't for Brother Zhang introducing me, I wouldn't have had a chance to win money." Zhao Zhipeng felt that was enough, so he decided not to play anymore.

"You're a true brother, let's go for a drink."

Afterwards, Zhao Zhipeng and his group left and headed towards the state-run restaurant.

It turns out that ever since Zhang Da and his group took over the job from the female lead, they've been thinking about how to get close to Zhao Zhipeng.

As luck would have it, Zhao Zhipeng was spotted by Zhang Da's henchmen when he came to town.

Then, he reported it to Zhang Da.

Thus began a self-directed and self-acted drama.

Zhang Da instructed his henchmen to steal money from Zhao Zhipeng when he wasn't paying attention.

Later, when Zhao Zhipeng shouted "Stop thief!", he did a good deed and took his money back.

This is how he got in touch with Zhao Zhipeng.

After getting to know him, he took Zhao Zhipeng to the casino run by Brother Biao.

The reason why Zhao Zhipeng has had good luck these past few days is that he has been letting the opponent win.

Only by giving him a little something sweet first can you keep him coming back.

The main reason was that Zhang Da and Brother Biao secretly joined forces to plan to frame Zhao Zhipeng.

Such situations had occurred before, so it was quite common for Zhang.

After drinking with Zhang Da and others, Zhao Zhipeng returned to the Red Star Brigade drunk.

In the village, near the woods, the female protagonist saw Zhao Zhipeng walking unsteadily, and for a moment, hatred filled her heart.

A fierce glint flashed in his eyes.

After checking that no one was around, the female protagonist picked up a wooden stick from the roadside and then quietly approached Zhao Zhipeng from behind.

He raised the wooden stick and struck Zhao Zhipeng's head hard.

"Ah!" After feeling a sharp pain on the back of his head, Zhao Zhipeng, who was previously drunk, became somewhat sober. Just as he was about to turn around to see who dared to hit him, he was hit on the head several more times.

Before Zhao Zhipeng could turn around, he collapsed to the ground.

"Pah! You got off easy!" After seeing Zhao Zhipeng fall to the ground, the female protagonist threw the wooden stick in her hand to the ground and then kicked him hard several times.

Although she had already arranged for Zhang Da to deal with Zhao Zhipeng, today presented a perfect opportunity. With no one else around, the timing, location, and people all aligned, it would be a shame not to take action.

The woman then kicked him a few more times before leaving.

We've only collected some interest so far; the real feast is yet to come.

"Hmm!"

"Sizzle!"

After waking up, Zhao Zhipeng felt pain not only in the back of his head, but throughout his entire body.

"It hurts so much! Don't let me find out which bastard did this, or I'll cripple him!" Zhao Zhipeng stood up from the ground, still a little unsteady, his face full of gloom.

After catching his breath, he slowly made his way towards his home.

"Mom, I'm back!" Zhao Zhipeng shouted into the yard as he pushed open the door.

"Pengpeng, why didn't you come back last night? I was so worried about you."

"You reek of alcohol. You went drinking again?!"

"Don't come home this late next time. If you want to drink, drink at home."

"I know, Mother, stop nagging and hurry up and bring the medicinal wine." Zhao Zhipeng said impatiently.

"Get some medicinal wine? Pengpeng, what happened to you? Your body is covered in bruises!" Zhao Zhipeng's mother didn't notice at first, but after hearing her son's words, she quickly pulled open his clothes and saw that his body was covered in bruises.

His face showed great worry.

"Don't ask anymore, someone attacked us."

"Quickly bring me the medicinal wine," Zhao Zhipeng said, suppressing his anger. Just now, he had been touched and injured, and the pain had made him wince.

"I'll go right away. I'll help you to bed first." After settling her son in bed, Zhao Zhipeng's mother hurriedly ran to her room and found the medicinal wine.

"Sizzle!" Zhao Zhipeng's mother splashed the medicinal wine on him and pushed him away forcefully, causing Zhao Zhipeng to make a sound.

“Pengpeng, don’t come back drunk next time. This time there was an accident, but thankfully it wasn’t too serious, otherwise how would your mother live?” Zhao Zhipeng’s mother cried out.
