Chapter 9 After transmigrating into the female lead's adoptive mother, I'm not serving her anymore!

It turns out that when Su Bei brought Mo Ran in just now, the receptionist saw that Mo Ran was wearing a school uniform.

He clearly looked like he was still in high school, so I guessed he was a minor. Plus, he was drunk, so I had some suspicions.

He maintained a calm demeanor while serving the person, but in his mind, he was thinking about keeping the person calm and calling the police once they were upstairs!

The reason they didn't confront him directly was because they were worried that the man in front of them might run away with his men, alerting him.

After hearing Su Bei's words, the receptionist loosened her grip on the hand that had been clenched tightly under the table.

After Su Bei finished speaking, he helped Mo Ran into the elevator.

The moment the elevator doors closed, Su Bei's expression turned somewhat grim.

If he hadn't been so observant and noticed something amiss at the front desk, the police might have come knocking on the door a little while later!

Su Bei looked at Mo Ran, who was lying drunk in his arms, with a hint of annoyance on his face.

I kicked the elevator door casually.

Originally, he planned to go to a bar to relax with his buddies, have some drinks, and then go to an internet cafe for an all-night gaming session.

I was playing when I suddenly heard a noise not far away. I just glanced over casually, but I never expected to see one of the class's top students there!

And it just so happened that the other person was being harassed by someone.

Since we were in the same class, I just happened to help out.

As a result, I ended up taking on a troublesome task.

Just then, a phone rang. Su Bei then held Mo Ran with one hand and took out a cell phone from his pocket with the other.

Then, the call was answered, and before anyone could speak, a voice came from the other end of the line.

"Brother Bei, where did you go? I came back and you weren't here." The deafening music coming from the other end of the phone was still audible.

"I had something come up and had to leave," Su Bei said, a hint of annoyance on his face.

"Hey bro, are you going to the internet cafe to play games later?" the person on the other end asked, his voice getting louder because it was so noisy over there.

“Go! I’ll be there in a bit,” Su Bei replied.

“Okay, we’ll wait for Brother Bei right here at the bar,” the person opposite shouted.

"No, I...I'm not...drunk, I want...more to drink." Just as Su Bei was about to reply, Mo Ran, nestled in his arms, mumbled incoherently.

"Brother Bei, I hear a woman's voice!" The person on the other end suddenly became excited, his voice brimming with enthusiasm.

"Brother Bei, is that your wife? Brother Bei, you're really something. I won't bother you any longer."

"Don't rush over. Something came up with us brothers, so we won't be going to the internet cafe tonight. Brother Bei, why don't you stay with your wife?"

Suddenly, the opponent unleashed a barrage of attacks, their excitement barely concealed.

After saying that, he abruptly hung up the phone without waiting for Su Bei's explanation.

Su Bei looked at the phone that had already been hung up, his face darkening. Then he glanced at Mo Ran, who was still rambling incoherently, and muttered a couple of curses under his breath.

"Ding!" The elevator arrived at that moment.

After Su Bei led Mo Ran out of the elevator, they followed the door number and headed towards the room.

After walking a few meters, he found the room, opened the door with the room card, and threw Mo Ran, whom he was holding, onto the bed.

Then, he took off her shoes and pulled out a blanket to cover Mo Ran.

Mo Ran regained some consciousness after being thrown, and opened her eyes slightly, her gaze dazed.

After seeing that Mo Ran had woken up, Su Bei came to her side, patted her face, and said...

"Hey! Wake up! You can sleep here, I'm leaving now."

"Ugh, don't go," Mo Ran mumbled, a blush creeping across her face.

Then, as if worried that the person in front of her would leave, she tightly grabbed the hem of the person's clothes.

Su Bei looked at the corner of his clothes that was being tugged, and pulled it outwards, but couldn't pull it off. Mo Ran tightened her grip as she felt the external force.

Su Bei then pulled outwards even harder, and Mo Ran used the force to lunge directly at Su Bei.

"Ugh!" Mo Ran then vomited directly onto Su Bei's chest, and then lost consciousness, falling onto the bed and falling asleep.

"Damn it!" Su Bei's face darkened as he looked at the vomit on his chest.

He couldn't help but yell a curse!

Looking at the unconscious Mo Ran, he frowned deeply.

Afterwards, he reluctantly adjusted Mo Ran and placed her on the bed to lie down.

Su Bei went to the bathroom to tidy herself up.

I washed the clothes I had vomited on, dried them in the dryer, and then dressed them properly again.

Su Bei came to Mo Ran's bedside, looked at Mo Ran lying on the bed fast asleep, and pinched Mo Ran's face hard.

"Look what you've done!" he said with a mix of anger and laughter, his tone tinged with helplessness.

After that, Su Bei left the room.

As he descended to the first floor and passed the reception desk, Su Bei remained unfazed by the gaze directed at him from the receptionist.

However, after turning around, he gave a sneer.

Then he left.

I went back to the bar.

They found his gang of henchmen.

"Let's go to the internet cafe," Su Bei said, patting his younger brother Dali, who was drinking.

The other underlings all wore mocking expressions when they saw Su Bei return.

"Brother Bei, why are you back? Weren't you with your wife?" Dali put down his wine glass, turned around and saw Su Bei, then teased him with a smile.

There was a hint of excitement in his voice.

"What nonsense are you talking about? What little sister-in-law? No, don't talk nonsense." Su Bei said speechlessly, looking at the stares coming from all around him, with a hint of helplessness on his face.
