They traveled and stopped along the way, and thanks to Lin Xue's incredible luck, they not only didn't have to worry about food, but they also accumulated quite a bit of grain.
It took them another ten days to finally leave the mountains and reach the official road.

The person who came was shouting as they retreated.
He flailed his arms wildly, trying to protect his face!
"What kind of Tom, Dick, and Harry dares to try and steal my things! When I was traveling all over the country, what kind of bullies haven't I seen? You don't even have a shred of martial arts skills, yet you dare to embarrass yourself in front of me!"
"Pooh!"
"If I see you again, I'll break your arms and legs!"
After chasing the people away, Lin Xue continued to curse and swear all the way.
Her fierce appearance and the unspoken meaning in her words frightened the restless crowd back into their tracks.
"Eldest brother, second brother, you two stand on either side of the donkey. If anyone dares to come up and try to snatch it again, you two chop off their arms!"
Lin Xue angrily gave an order to her two sons.
Then she whispered to her two daughters-in-law to walk beside her and not stray too far from her.
Only then did the group continue their journey!
After this incident, people who used to walk near Lin Xue and her family gradually distanced themselves from them.
Lin Xue felt a little relieved.
Unbeknownst to them, a group of people were watching them from the shade of a tree not far away.
"Is that woman the group you went to ask for pheasant soup with?"

"Go ask them if they'd like to come with us. If it weren't for that bowl of chicken soup they gave me, I probably wouldn't have recovered so quickly!"
"As long as it doesn't delay our journey, they can come with us if they wish!"
The refined middle-aged man shook his fan; his original folding fan had been lost along the way. The one he held now was woven for him by his subordinates from bamboo.
The young man's tone became even more cheerful after hearing his master's words.
"Really, Master? That's wonderful! I'll go tell Auntie right away!"
The young man, with a blank expression, jumped up excitedly and disappeared in a flash without waiting for his owner's reply.
When they reappeared, they were already in front of Lin Xue and the others.
"Grandma, we meet again!"
The young man stopped two or three meters away from Lin Xue and the others, and clasped his hands in a fist salute to them.
"Oh, it's you, young man. What brings you here?"
Upon seeing this young man, Lin Xue felt a surge of pity.
What a wonderful child! Tall, strong, and handsome, how could he have gotten facial paralysis?
"Madam, I have come on my master's orders to ask you whether you would like to travel with our group!"
