Zhou Jing'an is smart and clever. He can recognize most of the modern simplified Chinese characters and can roughly write commonly used characters.
He started with elementary school textbooks, which were relatively basic, and he read them quickly. When it came to junior high school textbooks, Jiang Ling asked him to focus on history, biology, geography, politics, chemistry, and physics, and temporarily stopped him from reading English.
At the same time, pairing it with a book on evolution and an encyclopedia will enable you to understand the world in multiple dimensions, and they can complement each other and help with the understanding of various subjects.
Jiang Ling sometimes felt like she had started tutoring very early on. At the beginning, she had never taken care of Zhou Xian's homework, as Zhou Jing'an and the teacher took care of it all.
"Don't rush to understand. It's okay to read slowly. Don't worry."
She knew Zhou Jing'an's concerns. She felt sorry for him and felt bad for him because he had to study from morning to night every day.
"Ah Xian is going to kindergarten tomorrow, why don't you come with me to take him there?" It's a good opportunity to take him out for a walk. "We can also choose a car so that it will be convenient for him to go to school."
Zhou Jing'an nodded and agreed.
Zhou Xian's personality is no different from when he was in Dagan. Without the pressure of family mission, he has become more lively and active. He is very much looking forward to kindergarten and wants to make many good friends.
Looking at the scene of other children hugging their parents and crying at the kindergarten gate, Zhou Jing'an and Jiang Ling looked at each other, looked at the light in their son's eyes, and smiled helplessly.
"Axian, you must listen to the teacher in kindergarten. Don't bully other kids. Pay attention in class and don't get hurt. If you have any problems, find the teacher. Do you hear me?" Jiang Ling gave him a few more instructions.
Zhou Xian nodded heavily, indicating that he was completely fine, and even waved at them: "Mom and Dad, you guys go back, I'm going in."
Jiang Ling laughed and waved her hand, "Hey little brat, go in, I'll pick you up in the evening." The kindergarten here provides lunch.
Zhou Jing'an smiled as he watched him skipping in, then took Jiang Ling's hand and walked out against the flow of parents.
The compensation for the car accident came, and Jiang Ling took Zhou Jing'an to choose a car.
She doesn't have any requirements for the car, as long as it can be used for transportation.
"Choose a more spacious one. You are tall, and it will be more comfortable when you learn to drive in the future." She turned around and asked Zhou Jing'an for his opinion.
Zhou Jingan nodded, "Okay, I'll listen to you."
After choosing the car and paying the price, Jiang Ling drove Zhou Jing'an home.
Along the way, Zhou Jing'an, who was sitting in the passenger seat, looked at her from time to time.
"Why are you always looking at me?" She turned around and asked when the light turned red.
Zhou Jing'an raised the corner of his mouth, "Ling'er looks very pretty when she drives."
Jiang Ling raised her eyebrows and said with a smile: "When you learn to drive in the future, it will be nice. I will sit in the passenger seat and stare at you."
He smiled, "Of course it is good."
He thought that he wished Jiang Ling's gaze would always stay on him.
When I picked up Zhou Xian from school in the evening, the little guy never stopped talking.
He talked about kindergarten, teachers, and classmates, gesticulating excitedly, and moved back and forth in the back seat, which made the two of them feel helpless.
Zhou Jing'an shook his head and sighed, "Looks like I still need to temper his temper again."
Zhou Jing'an was a little depressed because he had finally raised Zhou Xian into an adult and now he had to do it all over again.
Jiang Ling laughed, steering the wheel. She caught a glimpse of his expression and asked, "Are you thinking that you shouldn't have brought your son here?"
Zhou Jing'an turned around and smiled, "Ling'er and I are indeed in tune with each other."
She sighed and laughed, stopped the car at a red light, and punched him. "You dare? Of course I want my son."
Zhou Jing'an rubbed his arm and groaned in pain, "Ling'er is really partial."
Jiang Ling glared at him, took out a box from her bag and handed it to him, "This is for you."
He took it and opened it. It was a new phone. His eyes lit up. "Did Ling'er buy this for me? I like it very much."
Seeing that he liked it, Jiang Ling also smiled, "I'm glad you like it. Although you may not be used to it yet, I still want to buy you one to keep you company. If you have any problems, you can contact me. This way, even if I go out, we won't lose contact."
Zhou Jingan chuckled and looked at her, "Okay."
"Is this the same as Ling'er's?"
Jiang Ling shook her head. "Mine is too old. Yours is new."
The screen of her mobile phone was broken when she was in a car accident. She took it to be repaired two days ago and it is still usable.
Zhou Jingan pursed his lips and said, "Then you use this one and I'll use yours."
She shook her head, "Take what's given to you."
Knowing he couldn't persuade her, Zhou Jing'an had to give up. He opened his phone to familiarize himself with it, and immediately saved Jiang Ling's phone number in it, feeling very unfamiliar.
-
One day, after Jiang Ling sent Zhou Xian to kindergarten and came home, she found that Zhou Jing'an seemed to be a little abnormal.
He didn't greet her at the door or in the living room, so she went to the study and found him there, looking out the window.
It wasn't until she came closer that Zhou Jing'an noticed her presence.
"Ah, you're back."
He only glanced at her and then lowered his head. He walked to the table and poured her some water. "Are you thirsty?"
Jiang Ling took it and kept staring at him.
"What's wrong with you?" she asked softly.
Zhou Jing'an lowered his eyes and shook his head silently.
Jiang Ling felt more and more that something was wrong. She put down the cup and saw him sitting back on the couch without saying a word.
The study room for Zhou Jing'an has been almost furnished. Jiang Ling arranged it according to the layout of his Xibaoxuan, bought a desk and bookshelf, and had someone make a similar soft couch according to his memory. Zhou Jing'an liked it very much.
