Wanran finally went into the kitchen and cooked two dishes, and everyone sat at the table and had a lively meal.
They talked about Wanran's experiences and the unborn baby in Jiang Ling's belly. In short, it was a light and pleasant topic.
"Are you still planning to leave now that you're back this time?" Jiang Ling asked Wanran.
He shook his head, "I haven't decided yet." He looked at her again and said softly, "It won't be too late to decide after the baby's full moon banquet."
After the meal, He Zui and Wan Ran sent Jiang Ling and the others to the carriage. As the night grew darker, He Zui felt worried and gave Zhou Jing'an a few more instructions, asking him to take good care of her.
Jiang Ling said goodbye to them with a smile, telling them not to worry and that she would come to see them another day.
She leaned in Zhou Jing'an's arms and said with emotion: "Don't you think Wanran seems to have changed?"
Zhou Jing'an nuzzled her ears affectionately and whispered, "Well, there have been some changes."
It seems to become...
"She has become more gentle and loves to laugh more," said Jiang Ling.
Zhou Jingan smiled and nodded: "Yes."
He took Jiang Ling's hand and lifted it up to rub the bracelet on her wrist.
It was a gift from Wanran. It’s a very beautiful bracelet with a hint of emerald green in light blue.
He said that he got it by accident and it was not valuable, but he thought the color was beautiful and it suited Jiang Ling very well, so he gave it to her.
Jiang Ling liked it very much and put it on immediately.
She didn't understand jade, nor did she care whether it was worth money. What mattered most was Wanran's intentions.
Zhou Jing'an remained silent. The bracelet had excellent color and the jade was translucent without any impurities. It must have taken a lot of effort to obtain it, or it must have cost a lot of money.
But seeing that Jiang Ling liked him so much, he didn't expose her so as not to burden her.
Wanran brought gifts for him, He Zui, and even Xiaojia and Wang Shu. She distributed them one by one, and everyone was very happy.
The carriage was moving very slowly. Jiang Ling's belly was getting bigger and bigger, so the coachman had to be very careful when she went out, for fear that she would bump into something.
Zhou Jing'an carefully took her hand and half-hugged her to help her get out of the carriage.
"Are you tired? Otherwise, I'll carry you back." He lowered his eyes to look at her round belly, frowned, and felt a little distressed.
Jiang Ling shook her head. "I'm a little tired. You don't need to carry me. I'll just walk back slowly."
So Zhou Jing'an took her hand and they slowly walked towards Qiyun Pavilion.
Seeing that she looked a little tired, Zhou Jing'an took the initiative to pick up the conversation and told her about the interesting things that happened in Beijing in recent days, just to cheer her up.
After washing up, Jiang Ling changed into a light pink undergarment and lay on the couch, stroking her belly in a daze.
Zhou Jing'an skillfully picked up her feet and placed them in warm water, massaging them patiently to relieve her fatigue.
Because he had to go to the courtyard to visit He Zui, Jiang Ling didn't sleep for long in the afternoon. He talked and laughed all afternoon and was really tired at this time.
She was tired, but the little one in her belly was still very energetic.
It seemed like he was rolling around in his stomach, or turning over, causing his belly to rise and fall, which stunned the two of them for a moment.
Zhou Jing'an put down the towel for wiping her feet, stuffed her feet into the blanket again, lowered his eyes and stared at her belly, feeling a little annoyed.
"You're so ignorant and inconsiderate. You're still making a fuss at this late hour."
There was a condemnation in his words, as if he had already put himself in the role of a father and wanted to teach this little guy a lesson.
Jiang Ling laughed out loud and put her hand on her belly, trying to comfort this restless little life.
"There wasn't much noise today. I guess I slept a lot during the day, so I'm energetic at night."
Zhou Jing'an was helpless and had no way to deal with this "rebellious son" who had not yet been born.
He held Jiang Ling in his arms, let her lean on him for strength, and buried his head in her neck and kissed her.
He murmured softly, "I'm so naughty, I inherited Ling'er's."
Jiang Ling's ears were kissed by him, and she felt warm. She smiled and retorted: "I'm not naughty."
Zhou Jing'an placed his hand on hers, stroking her belly and feeling the little one turning over from time to time.
Looking down, Jiang Ling's long and thick eyelashes, upturned nose and pink lips attracted his attention.
He bent down to find her and kissed her gently.
Gentle yet undeniable, kissing her lips was like drinking rose water, making him unable to extricate himself.
Jiang Ling's breathing was unstable. She just raised her hand to touch him lightly, and Zhou Jing'an let go. His eyes were deep, and he kissed her eyebrows lightly again.
He rubbed against the side of her face, holding her whole body in his arms. In that sweet and tender moment, he whispered some sweet words to express his feelings, which made Jiang Ling blush.
Looking sideways at him, his handsome features were filled with tenderness, his eyes sparkling and could easily make anyone fall for him.
Jiang Ling put her fingertips on his lips, feeling a little annoyed and glaring at him: "Stop talking."
Her face was beautiful, with rosy cheeks that spread all the way to the tips of her ears. Her eyes were watery, and her brows were slightly furrowed, with annoyance hidden in her shyness. She only raised her head and glanced at him, and Zhou Jing'an was a little dazed.
"Ling'er can't stop me from talking, I'm going to talk anyway."
He deliberately refused and whispered sweet words into her ear, causing Jiang Ling to bite her lip and struggle, trying to shake off his hand, but he held it tightly, with their fingertips touching and their fingers tightly intertwined.
Jiang Ling was upset and wanted to shut up this evil mouth. She took advantage of his unpreparedness and kissed him. Sure enough, the words disappeared.
Zhou Jing'an looked at her smug expression, concealed his triumphant smile, took advantage of the situation and went deeper, drinking up all the rose dew, until even his breath became sweet.
Jiang Ling's body softened and she gritted her teeth.
Since he has provoked her, he must take responsibility to the end.
She is now eight months old. Zhou Jing'an didn't dare to touch her. He carried her to the bed. Just as he was about to pull away, Jiang Ling grabbed his sleeve.
