The scenes in the film and television shooting base in the suburbs of Beijing are mainly used for the second half of the movie, which is the plot after the protagonists gather together, with more group scenes.
It was Su Yan's original plan to shoot this part first. The scenes in the second half were concentrated. Since he had just finished filming the previous movie, it was more convenient to continue renting the venue. After finishing the second half, he would go to other places to shoot the previous scenes.
This was consistent with what he had initially promised Jiang Ling, that it would not delay her termination of the contract.
Jiang Ling and Zhou Jing'an's roles are not the most important, and they only have three sets of makeup in total. Because they play a couple, their clothes are all matched.
Zhou Jing'an finished his makeup first.
