Modern Extra <20>

Her long black hair was curled into big waves, and her makeup was a little more vibrant than usual. With her red lips and curved smile, her every frown and smile was charming and full of allure.

She held Zhou Jing'an's arm. He was wearing a black, gray and white plaid suit today. It was a perfect fit for him, outlining his broad shoulders, narrow waist and long legs. He was wearing a pair of black leather shoes.

His long hair wasn't tied up as usual, but left loose. After a few adjustments by Jiang Ling, it fell straight yet flowing. Jiang Ling fitted him with a pair of silver-rimmed glasses without lenses. Thin, long silver-plated metal chains dangled freely from the temples, forming a semi-circle. As they swayed, they reflected his cold, yet smiling, eyes.

Jiang Ling wore red high-heeled shoes with thin heels, but they only brushed past his shoulders. The two walked side by side, looking very well matched.

The way the two of them matched today, one looked like a rich girl returning home, the other like a young man who had completed his studies abroad; one was bright and flamboyant, the other was gentle and reserved.

The fans of the two started screaming again in the barrage of the live broadcast of the film festival.

"Ahhh what two great faces!"

"These two faces are so kind to my eyes!"

"My sister is so beautiful, oh my god!"

"My brother-in-law is such a scumbag. This is the first time I see him wearing a suit."

Everyone went to sign on the signature wall first. Jiang Ling had a designed signature. After Zhou Jing'an waited for her to finish writing, he took a pen and wrote the word "An" in a few simple strokes on her last flying stroke.

"Wait, am I the only one who noticed that my brother-in-law's signature is just an extra word on my sister's signature?"

"I noticed it too! This kid is amazing!"

"What's up? Are you still relying on my sister to help you get an autograph? You're so clingy!"

"We took a group photo! I took screenshots like crazy!"

"Can we take a photo alone with our young couple?"

The organizer had this in mind, but they just asked each couple to take photos separately. Liang Chu didn't have her own CP, so she just stood alone on the stage.

After taking a group photo, everyone went to the interview area. The host interviewed Su Yan and his wife as well as the two leading actors. The others also asked a few questions. Before leaving, the host suddenly turned the topic to Jiang Ling and Zhou Jing'an.

The film festival is not one that Su Yan can call in advance. People there have their own considerations about who to ask and what questions to ask.

The two stood at the edge, and another host standing next to Jiang Ling asked them with a smile, "You two have become regular guests online these days. Many people are curious about how you two met and what brought you together?"

Jiang Ling paused and turned to look at Zhou Jing'an.

How does this mean? Does it mean she met him in a book? Or that they've known each other for twenty years?

Zhou Jing'an lowered his eyes to look at her, took the microphone and said softly, his voice tinged with smile: "Ling'er and I are childhood sweethearts."

Jiang Ling was stunned. When did this happen? How come she didn't know?

When she met Zhou Jing'an's eyes, she understood what he meant.

That's right, the two have been together for twenty years, so they can be considered childhood sweethearts. There's nothing wrong with saying that.

The host smiled and agreed that the relationship was naturally good, and then asked, "Will it be awkward or easy to get out of character during filming?"

Jiang Ling replied with a smile, and Zhou Jing'an held the microphone to her lips. "That's not bad. After all, acting still requires seriousness and professionalism. We've practiced the details many times, so there are very few things that go wrong."

Su Yan, who was standing by, laughed when he heard this. Didn't Zhou Jing'an have to act at all? He didn't even need to remind her when facing Jiang Ling. He always looked so deeply in love. It was really heartbreaking.

The host asked Jiang Ling again whether she would continue to act in the future, and she kept the same statement as before.

After entering the inner field, everyone's seats were no longer arranged according to the crew, but were scattered everywhere. Qin Yuchuan and Ye Mei greeted a few people and went to the front row, while Jiang Ling and Zhou Jingan sat in the back.

Zhou Jingan went to the dressing room to get his bag and came back with a pink thermos cup. He asked her, "Are you thirsty?"

Jiang Ling nodded and reached out to take it. Zhou Jingan opened it and handed it to her, "Be careful, it's hot."

After drinking the water, she stared at him for a few seconds and asked, "Will your glasses be uncomfortable? Or should you take them off?"

Zhou Jingan chuckled and shook his head, "You said it looks good on me."

Jiang Ling raised the corner of her mouth, "So? Do I have to wear it all the time at home?"

"If you like it, that's fine." He replied with a smile.

The air conditioner was on in the backstage. Jiang Ling wanted to take off the furry shawl, but Zhou Jing'an held her hand. She looked at him and said, "It's hot."

Zhou Jingan pursed his lips, feeling a little conflicted.

She was wearing a tube top dress, revealing her fair skin, and her black hair and red dress, three colors intertwined, embellished with a sapphire necklace, really... Jiang Ling was too beautiful, he was a little reluctant to let others see it.

Jiang Ling saw through his thoughts at a glance.

In fact, she didn't wear this shawl originally, but Zhou Jing'an repeatedly said that it was not yet May and the weather was still very cool and it would be cold. At that time, she looked at the sunny day in Ting City outside the window and felt helpless.

Knowing why, he probably couldn't accept so many cameras, so Jiang Ling added this shawl to indulge his little thoughts.

She leaned close to him and whispered softly, "Master Zhou, no one is paying attention here, don't be too petty."

Zhou Jing'an lowered his eyes to look at her. The ceremony hadn't started yet, and the backstage wasn't brightly lit. However, Jiang Ling's smile was like a pearl in the darkness. He stared at her lips, licked them unconsciously, and quietly took her hand, admitting in a hoarse voice, "I am indeed narrow-minded..."

Looking at his dark eyes, Jiang Ling tilted her head and laughed.

When she had just put on her makeup, he kept staring at her with his eyes almost popping out. His intention to kiss her was too obvious, so she refused and asked him not to ruin her makeup.
