She ran to her room and pulled out two books. "I bought these cheap at a street stall while shopping. I use them to practice calligraphy. They're very old. They teach traditional Chinese characters and also include simplified Chinese characters. They're perfect for you to learn."
She had practiced traditional Chinese calligraphy, otherwise she would not have been able to adapt so quickly at Dagan, where traditional Chinese characters were basically used.
Zhou Jingan nodded, "Okay."
He pursed his lips, like a child.
"Learn these simplified characters first, then read the pinyin book, recognize the illustrations, and then read the textbook. You can focus on history, and then you can read slowly. There is no rush."
Jiang Ling hugged him and whispered softly, "These are all to help you understand what this world is like and how it developed. Don't worry, if you don't understand something, just ask me. Let's take our time and see what happens, okay?"
Zhou Jingan looked at her, chuckled, and hugged her tightly, "Ling'er is so gentle, I feel like a child."
Jiang Ling held his face and said with a smile, "You are much smarter than a child." She kissed him encouragingly, "Just stay home and read your books. I'll go buy you some clothes, okay?"
When he heard she was leaving, Zhou Jing'an immediately hugged her tighter and asked, "How long will it take for you to come back?"
"Two hours, ah, an hour, and I'll be back," she replied.
Zhou Jingan frowned, "It's been a long time."
Jiang Ling laughed, "It will be quick." After saying that, she kissed him coaxingly, and Zhou Jing'an held her waist and kissed her hard.
Watching Jiang Ling leave the room, the room instantly became quiet. Zhou Jing'an stared at the door for a long time before sitting down and looking at the pile of books, trying to concentrate. He picked up some and started reading.
