A few hours later, the train arrived at the station, and everyone reunited with their families. Everyone else looked excited, but Harry was not so willing.
Like most people, after returning home, for the first half month, she was still being called "my darling." But after a month, Jiang's mom started complaining that Jiang Yue was too lazy, doing nothing and just lying there like a maggot. Sigh, I guess I'm not your beloved baby anymore.
That day, Hermione came to find Jiang Yue to go to the library to read. On the way, Hermione complained to Jiang Yue, "I don't know what Harry is doing. Ron and I have written him so many letters and he hasn't replied. We were planning to invite him over to play."
"Maybe something came up and you were held up. Didn't you leave a phone number?"
“He didn’t leave a message. He said he couldn’t answer the phone and told us to write to him. He even promised to write back to us and come to our house when we were on the train. Now we can’t contact him directly. I wrote to Ron to ask, and Ron said he didn’t reply to my letter either.”
Jiang Yue looked at Hermione. She knew that the letter had been intercepted by Dobby, but she couldn't talk to Hermione about it now, so she changed the subject. After returning from the library, Jiang Yue went back to her room. During this time, she had been studying alchemy with Nicolas Flamel, and it was Headmaster Dumbledore who had introduced her to him.
On Harry's birthday, July 31, Hermione and Ron sent him birthday presents but received no reply. They then realized something was wrong. Ron decided to go to his house to check on him and wrote to ask Hermione and Jiang Yue if they wanted to come along. Jiang Yue didn't want to go, but Hermione kept pestering her, so she had no choice but to go with her.
That evening, Ron's brother arrived in his family's flying car. After they exchanged information at Hermione's house, Ron said, "Harry is definitely being held captive by his aunt and uncle. Poor Harry!"
After finishing, they were about to set off to rescue the person. Jiang Yue and Hermione couldn't persuade them otherwise. Ron discussed it with his two brothers and said, "Hermione, Jiang Yue, let's go rescue the person first. We'll come back to pick you up after we rescue Harry and take him home. It might be tomorrow afternoon or evening."
"Alright, then we won't stop you. Take this coin. When you get to your house, find a spacious place, tap the coin three times, and then flick it away."
Ron took the coin and looked at it. There were many incomprehensible words on the coin, but he didn't ask any questions. He took the coin and drove off to find Harry. After they left, Hermione asked curiously what the coin was. Jiang Yue explained the principle briefly. Basically, she had secretly opened two portals on the Floo Network. The coin was like a fireplace. When the coin popped out, it would connect to the Floo Network, and the other coin would vibrate. If the two coins popped out at the same time within a certain period of time, a passage would be created, and one could reach another place through the portal.
After seeing Hermione off, Jiang Yue told her parents that she was going to visit a classmate's house. They had no objections and wanted Jiang Yue to go out and have some fun instead of staying at home all day. They also reminded Jiang Yue to be careful when visiting other people's homes and not to act like she was at home. After packing her things, Hermione came over. She was going to sleep with Jiang Yue tonight and they would leave together tomorrow morning.
While sleeping, Hermione kept thinking about what Ron's house was like and how it differed from hers. Jiang Yue thought it was a good thing we were only going for one day, otherwise we might not even have a place to stay. Seeing that Jiang Yue didn't want to talk to her, Hermione shut up and went to sleep.
Ron picked up Harry and drove all night to get home, where he was immediately scolded by Mrs. Weasley for leaving without a word in the middle of the night. Luckily, Harry was there, or he would have been in serious trouble. Jiang Yue and Hermione were still waiting for Ron to activate the coin, but by noon it still hadn't arrived. The two looked at each other and Hermione said, "Looks like Ron has forgotten about it again."
Hermione angrily went home and wrote to Ron, but instead of receiving a letter from Ron, she received a letter from Hogwarts. The letter listed the things that needed to be prepared for the second year. After the two met up, they went to Diagon Alley. When they found Harry and Ron, they had already finished their battle with the Malfoys. Hermione looked at Ron angrily and asked, "Did you forget something?"
Ron slapped his forehead and said, "Sorry, sorry, I was so excited to receive Harry that I forgot. Oh, here's the coin back. We'll use the FlooNet later."
Jiang Yue took the coin; it was quite valuable, and the materials alone cost a lot of money. Later, Jiang Yue discovered the notebook in Ginny's basket, which had a hint of dark magic about it. Although it was well hidden, it couldn't be hidden from Bai Ze. While chatting with Ginny at the ice cream shop, Jiang Yue took out the notebook and asked Ginny, "Did you buy this yourself?"
Although the little girl is still young, her delicate features suggest she will grow up to be a beauty. She is indeed a big fan of Harry Potter, as she is constantly talking to Harry and sometimes looks like a lovesick girl. When Jiang Yue asked her a question, she picked up the notebook, looked at it, and said, "I don't know. I didn't buy this. I probably put it away by accident."
"Can you give me this one? Can I give you a new one?" Jiang Yue took out a new notebook and handed it to Jin Ni. Jin Ni said nonchalantly, "Sure, you don't need to give me a new one. You can take it if you want."
In the end, Jiang Yue still gave a new notebook to Ginny. After sealing the Horcrux notebook, she put it in her bag. Hermione, who was next to her, looked at Jiang Yue and felt that something was wrong, because Jiang Yue was not the kind of person who would ask for things from others so easily. However, she didn't say anything and planned to ask Jiang Yue about it when she got home.
After buying the items needed for the start of school, Ron invited the two to visit the Burrow again. Hermione satisfied her curiosity this time, although it might not be quite what she imagined. After dinner, Ron's mother asked the two to stay the night before going back, but they both refused. There weren't many houses, and if they stayed, they would have to squeeze in with other people to sleep. After going downstairs, Jiang Yue grabbed Jiang Yue's arm, said goodbye, and a follower appeared and disappeared.
After they left, Mr. Weasley remarked, "The young wizards these days are getting more and more amazing. I only learned this magic after I graduated, and she's only in second grade this year."
"That's normal. Every year Hogwarts has outstanding wizards; there are just a few more this year."
After the two returned to the house, Ron's father asked Ron about Jiang Yue. Ron drank a glass of water, scratched his head, and said, "I don't know much either. She's a student at Ravenclaw and is usually very low-key. Hermione is closer to her; they're neighbors. But I know she's very good at chess."
After saying that, he looked at Harry beside him and asked, "Harry, what about you?"
"Hmm... I'm not too sure either. I'm usually with Ron and Hermione."
Seeing that neither of the children understood, he didn't press them further. He figured it was just a passing fancy and that it was fine if he didn't know. After ending the conversation, he took Harry upstairs to show him his room.
