Professor McGonagall's combination of tactics was effective. She used a few good-for-nothing senior students to give the young wizards a practical lesson, making them realize the importance of studying hard. Later, she emphasized in the graduating class that borrowing books must be done through legal procedures and with Mrs. Pince.
Jiang Yue was incredibly impressed by Professor McGonagall's swift and efficient handling of the matter. After checking her messages to her family and teachers and replying, she put the mirror away. She noticed that the others were in a similar state to when she was playing on her phone, all grinning foolishly. She only put the mirror away when they were almost at Hogwarts. After changing into her school uniform, she waited to arrive at the station to attend the young wizards' entrance ceremony.
Because Harry and Ron weren't stopped or drove a flying car this time, they weren't put in solitary confinement, thus avoiding fines and shouting letters at home. On the first day of school, they didn't have a class in the first period, and the second period was magical theory, which was different from the young wizards' first period, who had Transfiguration.
After the second class, we took a break for one class. The fourth class was a Transfiguration class with Gryffindor. After lunch, we had a Herbalism class in the afternoon, and then an Astronomy class at 8:30 pm. The first half of the class was about learning cultural knowledge, and the second half was about using a telescope to play around and find corresponding star systems. It was quite interesting.
Life without Voldemort causing trouble was really peaceful. Jiang Yue was so comfortable that she forgot about the two Horcruxes until one day she went to the Room of Requirement and remembered them. After checking them, she continued to seal them. Without the replenishment of magic, they would probably dissipate on their own. She still needed to find an opportunity to give them to Headmaster Dumbledore as soon as possible.
Because Jiang Yue was afraid of some kind of butterfly effect, she even spent some of her attention watching to see if Harry could hear the Basilisk's voice. As it turned out, Ginny didn't release the Basilisk, and Harry Potter still heard the Basilisk's voice. However, unlike in the original story, there was no attack, which means that the Basilisk was still in the Chamber of Secrets and had not been released. But the Chamber of Secrets can't have only one exit, otherwise the Basilisk would have starved to death long ago if it only came out once every fifty years. It still needs to eat.
Jiang Yue came up with a good idea. She could take advantage of the Basilisk incident to hand over the locations of the Horcruxes and the others to Dumbledore. Recently, Harry had demonstrated his Parseltongue talent in Duel Class. Although the Basilisk hadn't attacked anyone, everyone around avoided it because of what had happened before. Jiang Yue took the opportunity to set up a formation in the Chamber of Secrets. The formation would disappear once Dumbledore's presence was detected. This would prevent others from obtaining the Horcruxes and also eliminate the possibility of the Horcruxes accidentally running out and causing trouble.
As for whether Dumbledore would go to the Chamber of Secrets, needless to say, he would definitely investigate such a big matter at the school. In the following days, Harry Potter could hear sounds for longer and longer periods of time. Dumbledore noticed Harry's abnormality and recalled the last time he dealt with the Chamber of Secrets. It seemed that something was about to cause trouble again.
While the students were in class, Headmaster Dumbledore found Myrtle and obtained the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets from her. He then used Harry's Parseltongue to open the Chamber. The trio wanted to go with them, but Dumbledore refused. He sent Fawkes the Phoenix in to scout ahead, and based on clues, Fawkes deduced that it was a basilisk. With Dumbledore's abilities, once he knew it was a basilisk, he killed it soon afterward and cleared Hagrid's name, who had been wrongly accused decades earlier.
Meanwhile, Dumbledore also obtained two Horcruxes and the piece of paper filled with information. Jiang Yue didn't know how Dumbledore handled it, but in the following months, Jiang Yue and Professor McGonagall rarely saw Dumbledore. Fortunately, they could contact each other via WeChat, otherwise Professor McGonagall would have sent a shouting letter to Headmaster Dumbledore.
The current plot has completely deviated from the original story. Voldemort's Horcruxes are hidden very well for safety. Originally, the only thing that could cause trouble was the diary, but Jiang Yue still managed to get her hands on it. Jiang Yue couldn't imagine how he would turn the tables. Dumbledore might not believe it at first after getting the note, but several months have passed, and Jiang Yue doesn't believe he hasn't made any moves. If he had acted quickly, he might have already found it.
However, all of this was no longer Jiang Yue's concern. When she sent the things out, she had made up her mind not to care about it anymore. The difficulty of the open-book exam was such that if she couldn't figure it out, it would be only right that Voldemort would resurrect her and unify the wizarding world. She was now taking advantage of the fact that Nicolas Flamel was still alive to study hard every day. It would be such a pity to miss such a good teacher.
Bai Ze has recently discovered some new things. The magical bloodline of a wizard refers to the extraordinary bloodline that a wizard's ancestors obtained through magical experiments or by intermarrying with magical intelligent beings such as giants or Veela. Those who awaken the magic power in their bloodline can become wizards.
Bai Ze can now artificially extract bloodline seeds and fuse them with the bloodlines of different creatures to gain extraordinary abilities, but this is only theoretical and has not been tested in practice. However, Jiang Yue has already collected quite a few bloodlines of various magical animals, which she doesn't need to do herself; they are sold in Fandao Alley.
If this really succeeds, and if Jiang Yue goes to other worlds, such as the cultivation world, she will have another possibility to become stronger even without aptitude. Jiang Yue is very concerned about this, but it is difficult to find test subjects and keeping it a secret is also a problem. If all else fails, she can only use herself as a test subject before she dies, or see if any clueless people will come along and offer their bodies.
The next day at lunchtime, Jiang Yue smiled at the harmonious atmosphere of Hogwarts. Wasn't this good enough? Did a villain have to come and cause trouble? Some things had changed, but some things hadn't. During the Quidditch match, Harry still broke his arm because of Dobby's control of the ball. Jiang Yue suddenly remembered that without the Chamber of Secrets, could Gryffindor still win the House Cup?
The semester passed quickly, and the final exams were fast approaching. Professor Nicolas Flamel also chose to die. Jiang Yue and Dumbledore attended the funeral, which was held in a low-key manner with only the two of them present. Afterwards, Jiang Yue was depressed for a few days, but it was the professor's choice. After all, "For a very clear-headed person, death is just another great adventure."
After the exams, everyone finally got to relax. While waiting for the results, they didn't have to attend classes and just played every day. Jiang Yue had studied for a whole year, and before the holidays, she went to Hogsmeade Village with everyone.
As the holiday approached, the students gathered in the Great Hall. Dumbledore also made a rare appearance at the school. This year, Harry Potter didn't receive any extra points, and Slytherin won the House Cup again. After a sumptuous dinner, Hogwarts was given a holiday. Jiang Yue didn't plan to go home for the holiday; instead, she planned to travel to Egypt to see the dragons and look for other phoenixes.
