Chapter 165 The Eighth World 2 (Loyal Imperial Guard X Charming Young Widow)

The waiter brought over the dishes, all in small pots, one serving per person.

The charcoal placed under the pot, for some reason, did not produce the smoke that is commonly used.

Qifei brought in the vegetables and meat herself, with a smile on her face. "This set meal is our shop's signature dish. It has both meat and vegetables. If you want any other dishes, you can order them separately."

The set meal is usually enough for one person.

Shura stood up and took the things from Qifei's hands, noticing that her fingers were a little red from being pressed.

The trays these days are very heavy, especially with so much food on them.

He frowned slightly. Did she always serve herself?

This dish is too heavy; her hands can barely support it.

"Please wait until the pot boils before you start cooking the vegetables. I'll go prepare some drinks for you." Qi Fei bowed to the two of them and then left the private room.

"Hehe, sir, come and try it. Their hot pot broth is unmatched by any other place."

Luo Wu greeted Xiuluo, a smug look on his face, "This restaurant has three specialties. The first one is this hot pot base. Although it's a bit spicy, the taste is absolutely amazing."

The second specialty is the wine here; its color is clear, and its flavor is unmatched by any other place.

The Three Wonders...

Luo Wu smiled knowingly, "It's this proprietress."

I saw the proprietress earlier, and she was absolutely stunning.

Unfortunately, her husband wasn't lucky enough to have her; he died shortly after marrying her. Such a beautiful woman, yet she didn't live to enjoy her life—there's nothing that can be done about it.

"A man?" Shura's face darkened, and his good mood at seeing Qifei vanished.

She got married?

Which random man is it? Does he want to die?

Luo Wu didn't understand why Shura had suddenly become so terrifying, with an aura that had become particularly fierce.

"M-Master?" Luo Wu called out hesitantly.

Shura stood up with a cold face. "I'll go out for a bit. You eat first."

Qifei was carrying a pot of wine and holding two cups in her hands. She was wondering if she would be considered frivolous if she went in to offer a toast.

But opening a shop and doing business should be possible, right?

It would definitely work in modern times, but I don't know if it would work in places where the atmosphere isn't open.

Suddenly, a hand reached out from the storage room and pulled Qifei inside.

Qi Fei was startled and was about to call out when she heard Shura's deep voice, "It's me."

She stopped moving.

The room was dark and unlit; it was mainly used to store miscellaneous items.

She was somewhat taken aback, "Lord Xiu...?"

"You're married?" Shura's voice sounded like he was suppressing something.

However, Qifei could clearly hear the violence in his voice.

She blinked. Could it be that Shura also carried his previous memories?

The system, hiding in the corner, trembled. It had forgotten to remind its host that once the main god regained consciousness, it would retain memories of every world.

But it dares not speak now, for it is afraid that the God will crush it with a flick of his finger.

The storage room wasn't large, and the two of them were standing very close together; in fact, if they took just one step forward, they would be pressed against each other.

Qi Fei tentatively placed her fingers on Shura's chest, "My lord, I am married."

"Who is it!" Shura gritted his teeth, wishing he could skin the wild man alive.

"Why is Your Excellency angry?" Qi Fei asked softly. "Does it matter to Your Excellency who it is?"

"Important." Shura felt a tightness in his chest, and wished he could roar to the sky to relieve the rage in his heart.

She actually got married in this world?

Shura already had countless criminals in his mind who killed men, and he wanted to tear them to pieces.

The thought of that man touching Qifei made him want to hang him up and torture him properly.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s important.” Qi Fei’s voice was tinged with amusement. “My husband died before my bridal sedan chair even reached the door, leaving me to be a widow.”

If you, sir, wish to find him, you may have to go underground.

Shura's breath hitched. "Dead?"

"Yes, he's dead." Qi Fei looked up at Xiu Luo, his eyes still seeming somewhat bewildered.

"Does Your Excellency have anything else to do? Isn't it inappropriate for us, a man and a woman, to be alone here?"

If others see this, they'll gossip.

Qifei blinked innocently; she now most likely guessed that Shura also had memories of the past.

Otherwise, he wouldn't have been so furious about her getting married.

She gently approached Shura, her gentle breath brushing against his neck, instantly bringing him back to his senses.

Seeing Qifei's reaction, a look of surprise flashed in his eyes. Had she regained her memories?

He reached out and put his arm around Qifei's waist, pressing her against his body.

"Fei'er," Shura's voice trembled, "you remember, don't you?"

Qifei was confused for a moment. What did that mean? Had she forgotten something?

However, she had no time to delve into the matter at the moment. Instead, she gently pressed her red lips to Shura's lips and said, "Yes, I remember."

Shura could no longer control his emotions. This was Qifei, who had accompanied him through several worlds and whom he remembered their past love.

He skillfully pried open Qifei's lips, lingering and grinding them.

The sucking force varies, with the tip of the tongue playing and frolicking.

The storage room was very quiet.

It seemed as if the hustle and bustle outside had nothing to do with them.

In the small room, the two explored each other's secrets and couldn't wait to express their longing for one another.

Qifei's legs went weak from the kiss, and she playfully pushed Xiu Luo away, saying, "Your colleagues are still waiting. Go eat, and we can talk about it in detail later."

I usually live behind this shop and don't go out much. Just come find me when you have time.

She still had to look after the business outside, and Shura must have been out for a while. If she didn't go back soon, she suspected that the people inside would come out looking for her.

Shura calmed his breathing before smilingly pinching Qifei's cheek. "Wait for me."

"Take the wine." Qi Fei blushed as she handed him the wine and turned to leave.

Shura chuckled softly, then carried the wine back to the private room.

Luo Wu was surprised to find that the adult had completely changed after going out for a while.

He gave off a warm and gentle feeling; I've never seen him like this before.

Seeing the wine jug in Shura's hand, Luo Wu thought he knew the situation well. "So you went to get some wine, sir. Please try it. His wine is very mellow and fragrant."

After placing the wine on the table, Shura did not refute Luo Wu's words. He leaned back lazily in his chair, looking quite pleased.

Luo Wu hesitated for a moment, but couldn't help asking curiously, "Has something good happened to you, sir?"

"I suppose so." Shura didn't hide anything, reaching out to pour himself a glass of wine, the taste of which was very similar to a wine he used to like.

A smile appeared on his lips, so Qifei was always preparing for their reunion.

Both of them were like that; regardless of whether the other had past memories, they were drawn to each other like magnets.
