Chapter 3 Campus Literature (Part 3)
Chu Yun woke up and felt much better. He opened his eyes and found himself lying on a bed in the infirmary with an IV in his hand.
"Hey, little classmate, you're awake."
The school doctor with a gentle smile on his face saw Chu Yun wake up and asked him if he still felt uncomfortable.
Chu Yun looked around the room and found that there was no one else in it except the school nurse in front of him. How did he end up in the infirmary after sleeping?
His throat was a little sore, and he spoke softly in a hoarse voice: "I'm much better now, thank you. Who brought me here?"
Before the school doctor could say anything, 001 spoke coldly:
【I am the protagonist. 】
"Oh, it's your roommate. He saw you were delirious with fever and sent you here."
As soon as he finished speaking, a tall figure came in. He had black hair, black eyes and a handsome face. When he was not smiling, he exuded an icy and cold aura, but when he smiled, he was like a spring breeze. At this moment, he had a faint smile on his lips and greeted the school doctor in a soft tone.
Chu Yun sat on the hospital bed in a daze, his mind wandering, but he was actually chatting with 001.
"001, is this the protagonist?"
【Um】
"Then... then I have to do something."
Chu Yun's tone was panicked. Although he was a small anchor in the real world, he didn't often socialize with others. He was a socially anxious person.
Soon Xie Zhiyu noticed Chu Yun in the corner and strode over. He placed the back of his hand on Chu Yun's forehead to test his temperature.
As expected of the protagonist, he speaks very gently and amiably to Chu Yun, a nobody.
"I feel like your fever has gone down. You must be hungry after not eating for a day. I bought some porridge."
Chu Yun was very touched and thought that the protagonist was a really good person. Not only did he send him all the way here, he also bought him food.
"Thank you."
After saying that, he reached out to take the delicious-looking century egg and lean meat porridge, but Chu Yun's stomach was already growling with hunger.
Xie Zhiyu, however, dodged his hand with the porridge in his hand. Chu Yun looked at him in confusion. Isn't this for him to eat?
Xie Zhiyu's narrow eyes behind the glasses flashed, and he smiled and said:
"You have an IV in your hand, it's not convenient to hold a spoon, just eat like this."
After saying that, Xie Zhiyu gently scooped up a spoonful of porridge with a spoon and handed it to Chu Yun's mouth.
The meaning is obvious, feed him.
Chu Yun's face immediately turned red. No one had ever fed him since he was a child. Only children needed to be fed. How could this protagonist be so kind-hearted...
Chu Yun hesitated and was about to refuse, but Xie Zhiyu brought the porridge to his lips. The fragrance went straight into Chu Yun's nose, and he couldn't help but eat it in one bite.
After the first bite, the subsequent feeding went much more smoothly. Chu Yun was originally very shy, but Xie Zhiyu's calm expression made Chu Yun feel relieved, and the heat on her face faded. It seemed that he was just taking care of his classmate.
The infirmary was very quiet, with only the two of them there. The school doctor had already left work, and Chu Yun accepted the food he was fed mouthful by mouthful with peace of mind. Xie Zhiyu was really good at buying food, and this was the most delicious century egg and lean meat porridge he had ever tasted.
Xie Zhiyu kept looking at Chu Yun in front of him. Sure enough, he was more eye-catching when he woke up than when he was asleep.
As soon as Xie Zhiyu entered the infirmary, he noticed that Chu Yun had woken up. He suppressed the inexplicable agitation in his heart and walked forward to talk to the school doctor normally.
Chu Yun's expression was easy to understand. He clutched the hem of his clothes with his little hands and kept looking at himself. Knowing that it was himself who sent him to the infirmary, he hesitated and wanted to go forward to thank him.
Like a kitten that feels uneasy around strangers.
Xie Zhiyu couldn't help but walked over and spoke first.
The kitten had just woken up and his body was warm. When you got close, you could smell a strange fragrance. Xie Zhiyu knew that he was hungry, so he handed him the porridge.
Chu Yun looked at the porridge in her hand with shining eyes, pursed her lips and wanted to eat it eagerly.
Xie Zhiyu wanted to tease Chu Yun and dodged his hand. He wanted to feed Chu Yun and it would be interesting to watch him eat.
The idea was implemented and he was not disappointed. Chu Yun felt embarrassed to be fed by him at first, but then he became distracted while eating, his eyes fixed on a spot with dilated pupils. No one knew what was going on in his little head.
It may not look very smart, but its mouth is very busy. It opens its mouth regularly to eat, with its cheeks puffing up. Sometimes if it is fed too much, it will chew for a long time.
Xie Zhiyu felt that he had not been so relaxed for a long time. He was busy with school affairs every day, dealing with many people, and making money. Over time, his face was covered with a mask of smile. It can't be said that he was under a lot of pressure, but he just felt tired.
I feel relieved just by feeding people. It seems I am really tired.
Soon Chu Yun was full, and after coming to his senses, he refused Xie Zhiyu's offer to feed him. He had just been chatting with 001. In this strange world with strange people, only talking to his own system could dispel his uneasiness.
001 said that he only needed to follow the original owner's life trajectory, and the mission would be issued when the plot point was triggered. He asked him not to be so nervous and assured that the cannon fodder's mission was very simple.
Chu Yun also relaxed.
Seeing Chu Yun in a daze again, Xie Zhiyu couldn't help laughing. Why was this little roommate so silly? He patted Chu Yun's head:
"Let's go. We don't have classes today. Let's go back to the dormitory and rest."
After saying that, she helped him pull out the needle from his hand and rubbed his stiff arm.
Chu Yun felt that Xie Zhiyu was too enthusiastic. How could he have the nerve to let others serve him, so he quickly pulled his arm back.
"Thank you... I... I can do it myself."
Xie Zhiyu froze for a moment, then stood up, smiled, and took out his phone to take a look:
"It's past three o'clock, let's go."
The infirmary is not very close to the boys' dormitory building. Chu Yun's social anxiety broke out along the way. He didn't even dare to look up when walking next to Xie Zhiyu. The protagonist's charm was really not to be underestimated. Many people looked at them on the road.
Chu Yun felt the gazes of people around her and uncomfortably took off the Hello Kitty clip on her head, letting her bangs cover her eyebrows.
Xie Zhiyu seemed to know that he was socially anxious, and considerately blocked most of his sight. Chu Yun felt much more comfortable and looked up at him with a grateful smile.
Xie Zhiyu's breath was held. Chu Yun's face was a killer in school. With his fair and clean skin and lifted bangs, he could easily attract everyone's attention.
He didn't like people staring at Chu Yun, so he blocked him without saying a word. Unexpectedly, this little roommate smiled at him obediently.
Xie Zhiyu reached out and touched Chu Yun's head:
"Your hair is too long. Do you want me to go get a haircut with you?"
[No, the original owner was a gloomy and self-deprecating type. If you cut your hair, you'll lose your personality.]
001 Exit Warning Chu Yun, the little host is so cute and beautiful, but she looks gloomy mainly because of her hair. If she cuts her hair, her character will be ooc.
Chu Yun didn't want to cut it in the first place, and after 001 said that, he directly declined Xie Zhiyu.
"No, I feel safer with long hair."
It was the first time that Xie Zhiyu heard such a statement. He looked up and down at Chu Yun in front of him. She had such beauty that she was deliberately hiding it. It seemed that she was socially anxious and low-key. He had misjudged her before.
"Okay, it looks good even without cutting it."
