Zhou Yi was stunned by what he saw, let alone being drenched!
His privileged position allowed him to traverse modern and ancient societies, as well as safer, special worlds like those in novels and games, relying more on his intellect than brute force. He had never even experienced a post-apocalyptic world; he had only heard about the disgusting horrors of zombies from others and assumed that was the worst of it.
But he was wrong!
Absolutely wrong!
Although he had never seen those zombies in person, he had seen them on television, and they were still within his tolerance level.
Where could anything be more terrifying than being horrified by this python covered in blood and flesh?
In short, he was so terrified by this snake, which was a thousand times larger than an ordinary python, that his worldview was shattered!
Then he realized that he hadn't fainted, which was really impressive, Zhou Yi thought with a wry smile.
Hua Rong picked up his precious dagger, made of some unknown material and from some unknown world, and while wiping away the blood, leaned closer to him, speaking in a voice only the two of them could hear: "You're just a lowly D-rank mission taker right now, but my entry into the Sea of Slaughter is thanks to your help. Although it's just a small favor, I naturally have to repay you. This Demon Tower Forest is fraught with danger, but even if you don't find any treasures inside, at least it will let you see what kind of ghosts and monsters you'll encounter in the future, or even if you go to a higher level of cultivation, the apocalypse, or the interstellar era, you won't be like a country bumpkin entering the city. You know, many times, crises don't give you time to adapt."
Hearing Hua Rong say this, Zhou Yi felt some of the grievances he had felt earlier dissipate.
He wasn't unaware of Hua Rong's intentions, but he didn't understand until he saw the python.
However, after understanding the situation, we allowed him to vent first.
He was vomiting so badly that he was dizzy and disoriented. Gavin was quite impressed with him. It was the first time he had encountered something like this, yet he hadn't fainted. You see, the first time he killed a magical beast, he had already fainted after the beast had only bled a little.
However, Zhou Yi only grumbled about the current miserable state, and he sighed inwardly, "Gerald is indeed worthy of being the son of the late queen."
He took out a change of clothes from his spatial ring, and even took out a wooden bucket, filled it with water, and let him take a bath right there.
Zhou Yi felt satisfied after vomiting, smiled gratefully at him, and didn't refuse.
Gavin was here with him, or rather, protecting him.
The other three, sensing something was wrong because of the python's presence, scattered to investigate the surrounding area.
Zhou Yi had just finished showering and put on his clothes when he heard a scream, which made him tremble all over. He looked around for Hua Rong like a chick seeking shelter from its mother hen.
Fortunately, Hua Rong hadn't forgotten him. She ran over and grabbed him, pulling him towards the direction of the sound.
Gavin didn't have time to clean up the bucket either, partly because the water inside was so disgusting that he didn't even want the bucket anymore.
Hua Rong and his two companions arrived at almost the same time as Gilbert; it was Tali who screamed.
Hua Rong looked up and saw that Tali was being carried in the mouth of a three-headed monster.
This magical beast doesn't seem to have been cultivating for very long, but strangely, its magical power is terrifyingly strong!
Hua Rong tossed Zhou Yi aside, exchanged a glance with the three of them, and then charged toward the three-headed demonic beasts.
Hua Rong drew a longsword and charged directly at the monster carrying Tali, while Gilbert and Gavin held off the other two!
The monster seemed to realize Hua Rong's power. Even though it was unwilling, it could only spit out Tali and then begin to fight back!
Tali fell to the ground and spat out blood, but quickly recovered and retreated to Zhou Yi's side.
Zhou Yi saw her and said, "You're so pitiful, you were almost eaten."
Tali, however, looked serious. She had finally recovered and was able to speak. It wasn't that her magic was weak; it was just that this monster was incredibly strange!
"It can control people's minds, so be careful and never look into its eyes!"
She shouted as fast as she could, but it was too late!
Gavin made eye contact with the monster's head and immediately felt dizzy.
About three seconds.
However, in that very instant, he found himself in crisis!
That song charged up and then unleashed a burst of fire, catching Gavin completely off guard!
Zhou Yi yelled, and Tali rushed over, "You beast!"
Tali hardened her resolve, closed her eyes, and used her magic to discern what was in front of her. "Gavin, I will avenge you—"
Before he could finish speaking, a voice came from the side: "That was too close! Too close! If it weren't for this dragon robe, I'd probably be ashes by now!"
Tali opened her eyes in surprise and found that Gavin, who had been "burned to death," was still next to her and was directly attacking the bewildered monster.
Tali followed closely behind, while Gavin continued talking: "The dragon armor I'm wearing was given to me by my grandfather. He said it's fireproof and waterproof, but I've never had a chance to use it before. I didn't expect to be able to use it this time. This guy's flames are extremely special. Under normal circumstances, if you were to come into contact with it, you would probably be burned to ashes."
Gai Wen no longer looked into the monster's eyes, and since it had already breathed fire once and couldn't gather its strength again for a while, the two of them successfully cut it down!
With one of Warcraft's monsters defeated, the pressure has been greatly reduced!
Hua Rong and Gilbert followed suit, each taking down the one they were facing.
"You guys won! That's amazing!" Zhou Yi looked at the four people who appeared in front of him, his expression eager to prove himself!
