Xie Yongshan tentatively placed his index finger on the tip of Liu's nose.
Then he collapsed to the ground, his body limp.
Fear and panic filled his eyes.
Liu died.
She was already dead.
He strangled her to death with his own hands.
Xie Yongshan stared blankly at his hands.
Xie Shiyan and Gu Jiangli watched this grand spectacle silently right in front of him.
"She's dead," Gu Jiangli said, frowning slightly.
She truly hadn't expected Liu to die in this way.
What surprised her even more was the conversation between Xie Yongshan and Liu about Xie Shiyan's mother.
It wasn't quite what she had imagined.
She thought Shi Yan's mother was a gentle and refined woman.
She was filled with sorrow and grief when faced with a husband who did not love her, and in the end, she passed away in despair.
But after overhearing Xie Yongshan and Liu's conversation today, she realized that Shi Yan's mother might not be the same as she had imagined...
She became even more certain of her suspicions.
Xie Yongshan suddenly looked up and met Xie Shiyan's mocking eyes.

Xie Shiyan stood up, calmly walked to Liu's side, and glanced at her with a light smile, "General Xie loved her so much that he actually personally saw her off. It's truly astonishing."
Xie Yongshan slowly stood up from the ground.

Xie Shiyan's undisguised sarcasm pierced Xie Yongshan's heart like a needle.
He remained silent for a long time, as if he had figured something out, and then found a seat for himself.
The disdain and contempt on Xie Shiyan's face made it seem as if that woman was standing in front of him once again.
Therefore, he disliked Xie Shiyan and his son, just as he loathed that woman!
"Shi Yan, to be honest, you never intended for us to live in the first place, did you?"
"right."
Xie Yong glanced at Liu Shi, who was lying motionless on the ground, closed his eyes, and let out a long breath.
"In the entire Xie family, all other children are named by their fathers at birth, but yours is different; your name was given to you by your mother."
"Shiyan, meaning to follow the natural order and bring peace and tranquility, is truly a good name."

Xie Yongshan looked at Xie Shiyan with a mocking smile.
Gu Jiangli sensed something was wrong, so she got up and walked to Xie Shiyan's side, taking his hand.

"Just like the mother who despises you!"
"Liu thinks she knows everything, but she doesn't know anything at all. I hate your mother, I hate her to the core!"
