Chapter 16 Quickly Transmigrate! Strategies to Conquer the God of Elements (Thirty-One)

"Damn it! It's the Dark Legion's reinforcements!"

His heart sank, and an ominous premonition came over him... Alice pulled him, and after many twists and turns, they came to a hidden cave. She looked back at him and said seriously, "Feng Ziang, the dark forces are stronger than we thought. We..."

Her tone was filled with anxiety and uneasiness, as if something terrible was about to happen. His heart tightened, and he asked, "What's the matter? Explain yourself clearly!"

Alice took a deep breath and said in a low voice, "We... fell into a trap!"

"Fell into a trap?" He was shocked, and the previous battle scene flashed through his mind. Could it be that...

"Yes,"

Alice nodded solemnly, "We all thought that the dark forces would concentrate their forces to attack the castle, so we deployed our main forces there.

But in reality, this is just a cover for them to attract our attention.

"She paused, then continued," The real target of the attack is our rear supply line!"

He took a deep breath. If the supply line to the rear was cut off, the castle would become an isolated city. No matter how strong it was, it would be breached sooner or later!

"What do we do now?" he asked anxiously. "How much time do we have?"

"Time is running out," Alice shook her head. "Ladice led a team deep behind enemy lines, trying to disrupt the dark forces' plans, but..."

"But what?" He had a bad feeling in his heart.

Alice bit her lip and said nothing. She just looked into the distance, where flames were blazing and shouts were deafening. It was obvious that the battle had entered a fierce stage.

"We must hurry back to provide support!" He clenched his fists, his heart filled with anger and worry.

Alice didn't say anything, just nodded silently, then turned and walked out of the cave.

They ran all the way back to the previous battlefield. The scene in front of me made my heart sink: although the Alliance army fought bravely, the number of dark forces was too great. They were like a tide, one wave after another, endless.

Their soldiers were exhausted, suffered heavy casualties, and the entire battlefield was shrouded in an atmosphere of despair.

"Morpheus..."

He saw Morpheus who was fighting hard in the distance. His face was pale and his breathing was disordered. It was obvious that he had consumed a large amount of elemental power.

"Feng Ziang, be careful!"

Suddenly, Alice threw him to the ground. A black arrow whizzed past his ear and nailed into the tree trunk behind him.

"Alice, are you okay?" He quickly helped her up and asked anxiously.

Alice shook her head and was about to speak, but suddenly her face changed. She looked up at the sky and exclaimed, "Oh no, that's..."

Before Alice finished her words, a suffocating sense of oppression descended from the sky. He looked up and saw a huge black vortex appearing above the battlefield, as if it was going to swallow everything.

"What is that?" he asked in horror, his heart beating violently.

"It's the Dark Portal!" Alice's face turned pale and her voice trembled, "The dark army is coming!"

As soon as the words fell, countless black shadows emerged from the vortex, like locusts passing through, covering the sky and the sun. They roared deafeningly, waved their weapons, and rushed towards their soldiers frantically.

The alliance's defense line collapsed instantly, the soldiers fled in all directions, and their screams of terror resounded through the sky. He had never seen such a horrific scene, as if the end of the world had come.

"We can't go on like this!" Morpheus' voice rang in his ears, with a hint of discomfort, "Feng Ziang, we must do something!"

He looked at the chaotic battlefield in front of him, and a feeling of powerlessness surged in his heart. There are only two of us, what can we do?

"Follow me!"

Morpheus grabbed his hand and dragged him toward the center of the battlefield. His elemental power exploded, forming dazzling rays of light that repelled the approaching dark creatures.

He swung his fists and knocked down the enemies that rushed in front of him one by one. But his strength seemed insignificant in front of these endless enemies.

"Morfeas, we can't go on like this, we can't hold on for much longer!" he shouted, but his voice was drowned out by the deafening shouts of killing.

Morpheus said nothing, but gritted his teeth and released his power even more frantically. He knew that he was also fighting desperately to protect this land, to protect our homeland.

Suddenly, Murphys groaned, his body swayed, and a trickle of blood flowed from the corner of his mouth.

"Morfeas!" His heart tightened and he quickly supported him.

"I'm fine," Murphys shook his head, his face pale, "I just consumed too much energy..."

Before he could finish, a huge black shadow dropped from the sky and smashed towards them with the momentum of destroying everything.

"Be careful!" He pushed Morpheus away, but was blown away by the black shadow and fell heavily to the ground.

"Feng Ziang!" Morpheus cried out in surprise and tried to rush over, but was surrounded by several dark creatures.

He struggled to stand up, but found that his whole body was sore and he couldn't move.

"Old wizard..."

He raised his head and looked into the distance. The figure of the old wizard was looming in the chaotic battlefield. He was still struggling to hold up the elemental shield, but his body was already shaking and about to fall.

"Old wizard!" he shouted hoarsely, his heart filled with despair.

He watched helplessly as a huge black shadow swung its claws and fiercely slapped the old wizard. The old wizard groaned, and the elemental shield flashed violently several times, but finally it could not bear the heavy burden and the barrier shattered. The old wizard was also blown away by the powerful force and fell heavily into the crowd.

"No!"

His eyes were bloodshot, and he wanted to rush forward, but he was tightly entangled by the dark creatures around him. He swung his fists and madly attacked every enemy that approached me, but he was becoming more and more desperate.

The old wizard fell, and his elemental power could no longer provide support to the Alliance army. Without the protection of the elemental shield, the Alliance soldiers were like leaves in a storm, being ruthlessly harvested by the dark forces.

"Feng Ziang! Look!" Morpheus' voice rang in his ears, trembling slightly.

He followed his gaze and saw that Alice and Ladis's team were surrounded by a group of powerful dark creatures. They stood back to back and fought desperately, but their strength was insignificant in front of those monsters.

Ladis's body was covered with wounds, but she still gritted her teeth and held on, swinging the long sword in her hand continuously, killing the approaching enemies one by one. Alice's face was pale, but she continued to release healing spells, trying to keep her comrades alive.

"We must go save them!" he said with red eyes, and wanted to rush over, but was grabbed by Morpheus.

"You're crazy! If we go there now, we'll just die!" Morpheus shouted, "Those monsters are too powerful, we are no match for them!"

I knew what Morpheus said was true, but I couldn't just stand there and watch our friends get slaughtered. I had to do something.

"I'll lead them away, and you take the opportunity to rescue Alice and the others!" he said, and was about to rush out.

"No! It's too dangerous!" Murphys held his hand tightly, preventing me from taking the risk.

"There's no time! If this goes on they will all die!" he shouted, shook off Morpheus' hand and rushed towards Alice and the others.

"Feng Ziang! Come back!"

Morpheus' voice echoed behind me, but he could no longer hear it. He only knew that he had to save them, even if it cost him his life.

He rushed into the encirclement of the dark creatures, swinging his fists and frantically attacking every enemy that approached him. His strength was insignificant in front of these monsters, but he still did not give up, because he knew that behind him was Alice, Ladis, his friends, and the people he had to protect!

"roar!"

A deafening roar sounded, and a huge figure appeared in front of me, blocking his way. It was a demon over three meters tall, with strong muscles all over his body, holding a huge battle axe in his hand, exuding a suffocating sense of oppression.

He raised his head in despair, looking at the huge monster in front of him, his heart was chilled... The giant's shadow enveloped him, and he seemed to be able to smell the stench coming out of its mouth.

Despair, like an invisible hand, tightly grasped his throat, making it almost impossible for him to breathe. He saw the bloodthirsty light flashing in its scarlet eyes and knew that he could not escape this time.
