"Sir!" Mo San covered his chest and looked at Liang Xu in disbelief, "You..."
Liang Xu ignored him and just glanced coldly at the demon soldiers around him, his eyes full of warning.
Those demon soldiers didn't dare to move forward and could only watch Liang Xu pulling me away from the village.
I was dragged by him to run, feeling mixed emotions.

We ran all the way and finally came to a hidden cave.

He walked into the cave first. I hesitated for a moment, but finally followed him.
It was pitch black in the cave, and I couldn't see my hand in front of me. I could only follow Liang Xu closely, afraid of losing him.
After walking for an unknown amount of time, the view in front of us suddenly became bright and we arrived in an unfamiliar land.
The sky here is dark red, and the air is filled with a pungent smell of sulfur.
There are some strange-shaped plants growing on the ground, emitting a faint fluorescent glow.
I had never seen anything like this before, and I was filled with vigilance.
"Welcome to the demon world." Liang Xu's voice rang in my ears with a hint of teasing.
I tightened my grip on the sword and looked at him coldly, "What on earth do you want to do?"
He smiled, with a hint of elusive meaning in his smile, "You will soon know what I want to do..."
The demon world is worthy of its name.
The dark red sky was so oppressive that it made me feel breathless, and the pervasive smell of sulfur in the air made my throat itchy.
The land beneath my feet was black, with no grass growing on it. There were only a few scattered red stones, which looked like congealed bloodstains and were shocking to the eyes.
I held the sword tightly in my hand and looked around vigilantly, fearing that some monster would suddenly appear from some corner.
Liang Xu seemed to be unconcerned about my nervousness. He led me through a rocky area with ease and into a relatively hidden cave.
The entrance to the cave is not big and is shrouded in a layer of black mist, making it impossible to see what is inside.
He waved his hand to clear the mist and motioned for me to go in.
I hesitated for a moment, but finally followed him in.
The cave was much more spacious than I had imagined. The ground was dry and flat, and the air did not have the pungent sulfur smell like outside.
Liang Xu got some food from somewhere and handed it to me.
I was stunned for a moment, then took the food, feeling mixed emotions.
He still cares about me?
This is completely different from the image of the demon king I had imagined before.
As night falls, the sky of the demon world becomes even darker, and a dark red light shrouds the earth, making it look weird and mysterious.
I leaned against the wall of the cave, looking at Liang Xu sitting opposite me, and a strange feeling surged in my heart.
He sat quietly, his eyes deep, as if he could see through my heart.
My heartbeat began to speed up, and an inexplicable restlessness spread throughout my body.
He suddenly stood up and walked towards me.
My breath hitched as I watched him approach step by step until he stood in front of me and I could clearly feel his breath.
His hand gently stroked my cheek. My body trembled, but I didn't dodge.
His eyes were gentle and affectionate, as if they wanted to melt me in them.
"Feng Ziang..." He called my name softly, his voice low and magnetic.
I looked at him, feeling my consciousness gradually blurring out, and a feeling I had never experienced before swept over me.
He slowly approached me and I closed my eyes...
"You..." I heard my own hoarse voice, but I didn't know what I wanted to say.
His lips touched my forehead, as softly as a feather brush.
I froze, overwhelmed by this sudden intimacy.
A cool feeling spread from the forehead to the whole body, dispelling the previous heat.
I suddenly opened my eyes and saw Liang Xu's face was pale and his lips were bloodless.
He smiled weakly, but there was a hint of barely perceptible pain in his eyes.
"What's wrong?" I held him and asked anxiously.
He shook his head without saying anything, but just hugged me tighter.
I felt his body trembling slightly, and an ominous premonition came over me.
There was a noisy sound coming from outside the cave, coming closer and closer.
I was startled and immediately understood - it was the pursuers of Demon Four!
They found this place so quickly!
Liang Xu also heard the noise outside, and his face became even uglier.
I frowned and looked at him worriedly.
"We have to get out of here!" I whispered.
"It's too late," Liang Xu's voice was so weak that it was almost inaudible, "They have already surrounded this place."
I gripped the sword tightly in my hand, ready to fight to the death.
Liang Xu grabbed my hand and shook his head.
"Don't be impulsive," he looked at me with helplessness in his eyes, "We are no match for them."
He pulled me deeper into the cave. It was pitch black there and I couldn't see anything.
I was filled with doubts. He didn't intend to resist, so was he just going to surrender like this?
"Believe me," Liang Xu seemed to see what I was thinking and said in a low voice.
I followed him half-believingly, through the narrow passage, and came to a more hidden cave.
This place is smaller than the previous cave, and there is a strange smell in the air that makes me feel a little dizzy.
Liang Xu took out a black stone from his arms and placed it on the ground.
The stone emitted a faint light, illuminating the surrounding environment.
Only then did I realize that the walls of the cave were engraved with strange runes, emitting a weird aura.
"What is this place?" I couldn't help but ask.
Liang Xu didn't answer, but pulled me to a rune and put my hand on it.
"Remember this feeling," he whispered. "If we get separated, this feeling will lead you here."
His words made me even more confused. Get lost? What on earth did he want to do?
Suddenly, the cave began to shake and the runes on the walls glowed brightly.
I felt dizzy and everything went dark...
When I opened my eyes again, I found myself in a completely unfamiliar place.
There is no dark red sky and no pungent smell of sulfur here.
I looked around and found myself in a beautiful valley.
"Liang Xu?" I shouted loudly, but no one responded.
My heart sank. Liang Xu was gone...
I placed my hand on my chest, feeling the remaining rune aura, and murmured to myself: "Remember this feeling..."
The deep buzzing sound unique to the demon world made my eardrums numb.
I held onto the rough rock wall, trying to find the direction.
Where is Liang Xu?
