Chapter 80 God's Purge Plan (7)

Chapter 80 God's Purge Plan (7)

The night was as dark as ink, shrouding this chaotic place known as the "Devil's Trading Market."

The air was filled with the stench of sulfur and rotten flesh, mixed with the whispers and roars of various demons. It was like countless devil's claws twitching at your ears, making your scalp tingle.

This place is simply a wholesale market from hell, with all kinds of strange demons walking around, wearing all kinds of weird stuff on their bodies, as if they were just picked up from a garbage dump.

Feng Ziang followed Lucifer closely. He looked around and the scene here really made him feel uncomfortable.

Some of those demons had horns, some had tails, and some couldn't even maintain their human form. They were like twisted nightmares.

He could feel the originally calm power in his body starting to become restless, as if resisting the foul aura around him. His brows wrinkled unconsciously, and a hint of tension appeared in his eyes.

Lucifer's eyes were as sharp as torches as he scanned the bustling trading market, like a cold-blooded falcon patrolling his own territory.

He knew that this place was full of dangers and fraud, and that he had to be careful and cautious in every step. If he was not careful, he might end up in an irretrievable situation.

But for the sake of that magical treasure, he must delve deeper into this dark vortex.

His eyes were as firm as a rock, and he exuded a powerful aura, as if warning all potential enemies: Don't mess with me, or you will suffer the consequences.

"Hey, isn't this the fallen angel Lucifer? What brings you to my shop?" A sharp and greasy voice came into Lucifer's ears.

A bloated demon with a pair of bat wings crawled out from a pile of foul-smelling cargo.

This is none other than Mammon, the merchant of this demonic trading market, a man known for his cunning and deceit.

There was a cunning light in his little eyes, as if he could see through people's hearts.

"Stop talking nonsense. Do you have what I'm looking for?" Lucifer looked at Mammon coldly, with a hint of impatience in his tone.

"Of course, of course, I have everything here!" Mammon rubbed his fat hands and smiled like a fox that stole a chicken. "But... the price must satisfy you, a big shot." As he said that, he stretched out a palm and shook his five fat fingers in front of his eyes, as if showing off something.

Lucifer frowned, obviously dissatisfied with the Lion of Mammon's open mouth.

He had known for a long time that none of these demon merchants were good people, but he never expected that Mammon would be so blatant in extortion.

Feng Ziang became even more furious when he saw Mamon's smug look. He clenched the sword in his hand tightly, wishing he could chop the profiteer to death with one blow.

He couldn't help but whispered: "This guy is so shameless..."

Lucifer just smiled faintly, with a barely perceptible arc on the corner of his mouth, and said meaningfully: "Really? I think..." He paused, and his eyes swept over Mammon's pile of goods again, "...this thing seems to be a little bit wrong."

Lucifer stretched out his slender fingers and gently fiddled with the so-called magic treasure. "Mamon, are you sure this thing is worth the price? The magic patterns on it are wrong in three places, and the lowest-grade magic crystal is used. Who are you trying to fool?"

The smile on Mamon's face froze instantly, and her fat body trembled three times.

He didn't expect that Lucifer could see the flaw in the treasure at a glance. This was his "treasure" that he had kept at the bottom of his box. He originally planned to make a fortune from Lucifer, but he didn't expect to hit a wall.

He laughed dryly twice, trying to save the situation: "Lord Lucifer, you really have a keen eye. This... this is just a small mistake. I will change you into a better one!"

Lucifer sneered and ruthlessly exposed his lie: "A small mistake? I think you want to get something for nothing. This broken thing would take up too much space even if you give it to me for free." His tone was harsh and his eyes were as sharp as a knife, making Mamon sweat profusely.

Feng Ziang watched from the side and admired in his heart: He is worthy of being Lord Lucifer, his aura and intelligence simply crush the whole audience!

At this moment, a familiar figure walked over with a false smile on his face: "Lucifer, long time no see." The man was Samuel, a comrade who once fought side by side with Lucifer but now stood on the opposite side of him.

He pretended to be concerned and asked, "I heard you want to buy magic treasures? Mammon is a swindler who loves to cheat people. Let me help you look around."

Lucifer sneered in his heart, he knew that Samuel and Mammon were birds of a feather, and he just had bad intentions.

He remained calm on the surface and replied calmly: "Thank you for your help."

Samuel walked up to Mammon and the two exchanged glances. Mammon immediately understood, straightened his back, and regained his previous arrogance.

Samuel pointed to another treasure and began to introduce it in a long stream, his tone full of temptation: "This treasure is..."

Lucifer looked at Samuel's hypocritical face and had a plan in mind.

The corners of his mouth rose slightly, revealing a playful smile, and he stretched out his hand to interrupt Samuel's sales pitch: "No need, I want this treasure." He pointed at the "broken thing" in Mamon's hand that he had devalued to be worthless, and his tone was firm.

Mammon and Samuel were stunned. They didn't expect Lucifer to make such a choice.

However, before Mamen could speak, Lucifer threw out a bag of gold coins and said in a cold tone: "This is the deposit. I will pay the remaining amount after the transaction is completed."

The sound of the gold coins falling to the ground was crisp and pleasant, but it was like a thunder, exploding in the ears of Mammon and Samuel.

Lucifer turned around and left the stall with Feng Ziang, leaving behind only a meaningful back.

"It's a pleasure working with you." Lucifer's lips curled up into an evil smile, as if everything was under his control.

He slowly pulled out an ordinary-looking black stone from his pocket and waved it in front of Mammon and Samuel. His tone was as lazy as a cat basking in the afternoon sun: "How about using this to exchange for your treasure?"

Mammon and Samuel were stunned at first, then burst into laughter. The laughter was so exaggerated that even the nearby demons couldn't help but look sideways.

Mammon laughed so hard that he fell backwards, his fat trembling like a bouncing ball of flesh.

"Hahaha, Lord Lucifer, are you kidding me? You want to exchange this broken stone for my treasure? Have you been burned silly by the holy light in the angel's brain? This thing is not even a magic crystal, at most it is just a pebble picked up from the roadside!"

Samuel also followed suit with a sarcastic tone: "Lucifer, it seems that after you fell, your mind also fell with you. You can't even exchange a penny for this kind of thing in the devil's market, and you still want to exchange it for treasures? How ridiculous!" The two of them sang in unison, as if they were watching a little clown.

Feng Ziang looked at their smug faces. Although he didn't understand what Lucifer was up to, he had a mysterious trust in Lucifer.

He knew that Lucifer would never do anything without certainty, and there must be something fishy going on here. He had even begun to look forward to the wonderful expressions on Mammon and Samuel's faces when they were slapped in the face.

Lucifer ignored their ridicule. His eyes were as sharp as an eagle's and there was a faint smile at the corner of his mouth.

He glanced at them with contempt, as if he were looking at two monkeys jumping up and down.
