Chapter 90 Quick Guide to the God of Elements (V)
I knew Mona was trying to comfort me, but I felt even more uneasy.
I could feel that something seemed to be different in my body. Although the violent elemental force had subsided, it did not disappear, but was lurking deep in my body.
It's like a sleeping beast that may wake up again at any time.
"Mona, I feel my power..."
"I know,"
Mona's expression turned serious. "Your elemental power is out of control. You must find a solution as soon as possible, otherwise..."
"What would happen otherwise?" I demanded.
Instead of answering my question, Mona stood up, walked to the corner of the room, and took out a black cloak from a box.
"Put it on and follow me."
Mona said, "Let's go find the old wizard and Weasley, maybe they can find a solution."
Although I didn't know where Mona was going to take me, I trusted her. I put on my cloak silently and followed her out of the room.
As night falls, the streets in the town are empty, with only dim lights swaying in the night breeze.
I followed Mona through many twists and turns and finally arrived at a remote alley.
"Here we are. This is it."
Mona stopped in front of a shabby wooden door and knocked three times gently.
“Squeak—”
The wooden door slowly opened, and an old voice came from inside: "Who's knocking at the door?"
"Old man, it's me, Mona."
We walked into the room and saw a hunched figure sitting by the fireplace. The dim light shone on his face, outlining a wrinkled face and a pair of cloudy eyes flashing with wisdom.
"Old wizard, he is the one I told you about..."
Before Mona finished her words, the old wizard suddenly raised his head and stared at me with his cloudy eyes, as if he could see into the depths of my soul.
He spoke slowly, his voice low and hoarse: "Child, the magic power in your body... is very dangerous..."
The old wizard's words made me nervous, and Mona's worried expression also confirmed the seriousness of the situation.
I resisted the discomfort and bowed deeply to the old wizard. "Old man, please help me. How can I control this power?"
The old wizard did not answer directly. He slowly stood up, walked in front of me, and touched my chest with his skinny fingers. A warm current instantly spread throughout my body.
I was surprised to find that the originally restless elemental power gradually calmed down under the soothing of this warm current.
"Child, your affinity for magic is different from that of ordinary people, but it also makes you more likely to suffer backlash."
The old wizard withdrew his hand and said solemnly, "The power in your body does not come from yourself, but from... another world."
Another world? Could it be my original world? I was confused, but I didn't dare to interrupt the old wizard.
"That power is running rampant in your body and has destroyed your magic seed. If you don't seal it in time, you will lose control forever and become a monster that only knows how to destroy!"
The old wizard's voice became stern, and I could even feel the air around us becoming oppressive.
"seal?"
I murmured to myself, my heart filled with despair, "Is there no other way? I don't want to lose this power..."
"Kid, I know this is cruel to you, but it's the only way,"
The old wizard sighed, with a hint of helplessness in his tone, "Unless..."
"Unless what?" I asked anxiously, as if I had grasped the last straw.
"Unless you can find the legendary 'Elemental God', with its power, you may be able to repair your magic seed, or even allow you to fully control this power."
The old wizard spoke slowly, but with a hint of uncertainty in his tone.
"The God of Elements?"
I had never heard of this thing, but from the old wizard's tone, I felt that it must be extraordinary.
"What is that?" I asked impatiently.
The old wizard said nothing. He walked to the wall and gently stroked an ancient mural a few times. Suddenly, a faint golden light emanated from the mural, and an ancient symbol slowly emerged.
"This is..."
I looked at the symbol, and suddenly a strange sense of familiarity surged in my heart.
"This is the mark of the elemental god,"
The old wizard's voice was deep and distant. "Legend has it that the God of Elements is the source of the continent's power. He possesses supreme power, but because of this he was sealed in an unknown place."
"So where should we go to find the God of Elements?" I asked.
The old wizard shook his head and said in a heavy tone: "I don't know. The God of Elements has disappeared for a thousand years. No one knows where he is."
My heart sank again. Was I really going to lose this power forever?
At this moment, I suddenly felt dizzy, my vision went dark, and I lost consciousness.
"Feng Ziang! Feng Ziang!" I heard someone calling me in a daze, but I couldn't open my eyes.
"Don't worry, he's asleep."
A strange man's voice sounded, "His magical power has been sealed by me, and now he is just an ordinary person."
"Very good, take him away!"
The other man's voice was cold and heartless.
I felt myself being lifted up, and then there was a violent jolt.
I don't know how long it was before I slowly opened my eyes, only to find myself in a strange room, surrounded by cold walls and metal instruments.
"Are you awake?"
A man in a white coat stood in front of me with a strange smile on his face, "Welcome to ..."
He paused, then said word by word: "Magic Research Institute."
"Fuck, you're using me as an experiment, your grandpa"
The pungent smell of disinfectant filled my nostrils. I struggled to sit up, but found that my limbs were firmly fixed to the metal bed.
Fear entangled my heart like a vine. I tried hard to recall what happened before I fell into a coma, the symbol, the old wizard's words, and the voice of the strange man...Magic Research Institute?
Why did they bring me here?
"Do you remember?"
The man in the white coat came up to me at some point. He looked down at me with cold eyes, as if he was looking at an experimental subject.
"Your magic power is very strong, but unfortunately, you don't know how to control it."
"Who are you? What do you want?"
I asked through gritted teeth, my heart filled with anger and anxiety.
The man didn't answer my question. He just smiled, turned and walked to an instrument in the corner of the room and pressed a red button.
Suddenly, a shrill alarm sounded in the room, and I felt a powerful energy wave rushing in from all directions, rushing towards my body wildly.
"ah!"
I groaned in pain and felt like my body was being torn apart.
"Don't waste your energy,"
The man sneered and said, "Your magical power has been sealed by us. Now you are just an ordinary person, at our mercy."
At this moment, a familiar figure rushed into the room. It was Morpheus!
"stop!"
He rushed to me without hesitation and stood between me and the man. "You can't do this to him!"
"Morfeas, are you crazy?" The man frowned. "Do you know what you are doing?"
"I know!" Morpheus' eyes flashed with determination, "I will never allow you to hurt him!"
He turned around, stared into my eyes, and spoke in an urgent and anxious tone.
"Feng Ziang, wake up! Don't let them control you!"
His voice seemed to come from far away. I tried to respond to him, but found that I could not control my body at all, nor could I make any sound.
I could only watch Morpheus helplessly as I confronted the man regardless of the consequences.
