After a brief silence, there was a burst of noise at the scene.

"I, I won't let you starve. I can hunt, catch lots and lots of prey. I will protect you." Yan Meng said awkwardly, looking at her with clear and bright eyes.
"Yeah. I believe you."
It seemed that he still cared a lot about what the outsiders said, afraid that she would believe them and think that he couldn't hunt and couldn't protect her.
After hearing her words, those golden eyes sparkled and looked at her with joy.
Bei Yutang looked at him with such joy that she didn't know what to do with her hands and feet.
What a simple beastman he is. He can become so happy just because of her words.
Bei Yutang looked at him with a smile.
Yan Meng was very happy that finally there were females willing to trust him and believe that he could protect them.
Yan Meng happily took out a whole piece of meat from the food storage cellar and placed it on the fire rack to roast. He glanced at her from time to time, and when she looked at him, he looked away in panic.
