"Yeah." Bei Yutang responded softly.

When she opened her eyes, she saw a ray of sunlight coming in from outside the house. As Bei Yutang sat up, she heard the sound of the courtyard door being pushed open.

Xiao Zimo looked at the smoke from the cooking stove that had not yet been lit, and a hint of loss flashed in his dark eyes.

Mother has been sleeping for five days. If she doesn’t wake up tomorrow, it will be seven days.

Mother said that she would sleep for about six days at most this time. The time was almost up, but mother still hadn't woken up, which made Zimo very worried.

Xiao Zimo lowered his head and walked towards the main room listlessly.

Suddenly, Xiao Zimo raised his head and looked towards the house, and soon saw his mother standing at the door.

Those dark and bright eyes suddenly emitted a gleam of surprise.

Little Zimo shouted in surprise, "Mom."

Bei Yutang looked at the excited little guy with a smile, walked up to him and took off the backpack from him.

"Are you tired?"

Xiao Zimo shook his head, "Not tired."

"Go review the lessons the teacher taught you, and I'll make you dinner."

"Okay." Xiao Zimo agreed happily.

In the kitchen, Bei Yutang looked at the ingredients available, preparing to make a scallion egg, stir-fry some pork, and add some spicy stir-fried cabbage. Just as she finished cooking one dish, a little head popped out from the doorway.

Little Mo timidly looked at his mother busy in the kitchen and asked in a low voice: "Mom, can I come over to help?"

Seeing Bei Yutang looking at him, Little Zi Mo immediately added, "I've already mastered the lessons the teacher taught me. Mother can test me later."

Bei Yutang looked at his eager eyes and said with a smile, "Watch the fire for me."

Seeing his mother agree, Xiao Zimo happily nodded, "Yes."

Little Zimo looked at the fire and his busy mother, his eyes full of happiness.

When his mother was around, he felt less lonely.

The mother and son enjoyed the meal very much, especially little Zimo, who ate one more bowl of rice than usual.

"Mo'er, we are leaving tomorrow." Bei Yutang said suddenly.

Little Zimo was stunned, and immediately thought of what his mother had said before, "Okay."

"Then let's pack up tonight and leave here early tomorrow morning. Write a letter to the teacher." Bei Yutang whispered.

"good."

After dinner, the two began to get busy.

Bei Yutang packed up everyone's belongings, including clothes and daily necessities. As for other things, they didn't take anything else. After Xiao Zimo finished writing the letter, he helped Bei Yutang pack.

Half an hour later, the two of them sorted out a box of things. These things were all earned bit by bit by bit after Bei Yutang arrived. If it were based on what the original owner left behind, it could be said that there was nothing.

The next day, at dawn, the two of them got up. Bei Yutang simply made two bowls of hand-rolled noodles. After breakfast, they left the mountain village under the dim moonlight.

The villagers had not yet gotten up, and no one saw a carriage leave the village.

It was a long time later that the villagers discovered that Kinomo and her son were missing.

Of course, all this is a story for the future.
