Bei Yutang had just escaped their siege once again. She stood in the distance, breathing heavily, exhausted. Blood dripped from her fingertips on her arm.
Click, click...
Drop by drop, it falls to the ground and blends into the loess.
Feng Chi, sitting on the throne, looked at Bei Yutang, who was covered in blood. Waves of heart-wrenching pain surged in his heart again, and the pain was out of control.
That damn feeling came back again.
It was like it would corrode his heart, eating away his sanity bit by bit.
Feng Chi suppressed the urge to rush forward and the strange throbbing that welled up in his heart.
He must never let himself get out of control.
With strong self-control, he suppressed the uncontrollable throbbing and heart-wrenching pain.
That woman must die today.
In the stands, Gesan stared at Bei Yutang closely. Seeing her staggering body, covered in blood and dirt, his eyes were filled with nothing but worry.
"She won't die just like that, will she?" someone whispered.
"She doesn't look like she can hold on for much longer."
"The king clearly wants her life. The promise he made just now was just a joke."
"If we delay any longer, the injuries on her body will kill her."
The women in the stands chattered in low voices, all pessimistic about her. It seemed as if her fate had already been determined, her only way out was death.
Gesang bit his lower lip and murmured, "I must survive, I must survive."
The woman next to her heard her and scoffed, "I'm afraid it won't work. How can she kill four lions without a weapon? Besides, she's covered in wounds, how can she resist the increasingly ferocious lions? Don't pray in vain; she's doomed."
Gesan glared at the woman fiercely.
The woman was startled and said angrily, "You don't know how to appreciate kindness."
On the field, Bei Yutang rolled over to avoid the attack of two lions, and rolled directly into the corner, and she became a turtle in a jar.
Damn it, if I had a weapon, how could I have ended up in such a miserable state.
Bei Yutang's body trembled slightly, and she almost fell to the ground. Fortunately, her other hand supported her on the ground in time. Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of a flash in the corner. It was a piece of wire as thick as her little finger.
Bei Yutang was delighted and held the wire, which was only as thick as his little finger and about half a foot long, in his hand.
"Roar!"
One of the lions roared, then pounced towards Bei Yutang fiercely. Bei Yutang glided on the ground and injected all his internal energy into the wire, making it powerful enough to pierce the lion's soft belly directly.
The lion felt pain and let out a deafening roar.
The people in the stands had no idea what was happening. They saw the majestic lion's body sway and fall directly to the ground, with blood constantly flowing out from under its body.
"What happened?"
"Why did the lion die?"
"What the hell is going on?"
Seeing this, Gesang smiled happily, "That's great."
The woman next to her snorted coldly, "It was just a lucky break for her. Don't be too happy too soon. There are still three lions to deal with, and she still has to endure it."
Gesan glared at the woman fiercely.
The woman snorted coldly and turned her head away.
…
Feng Chi's cold eyes immediately noticed that there was a thin wire in Bei Yutang's hand.
