"Who said I don't know?" Black Dragon interrupted her.
"Then what is courtship?"
"Courtship is just..." The black dragon was stuck. Just when he was in trouble, the voice of the elf leader sounded in his mind.
The black dragon's eyes lit up when he heard the words of the elf leader.
The black dragon raised his chin and said proudly, "Courtship is when a male seeks a mate."
Bei Yutang was a little surprised and looked at him suspiciously.

"What is a partner?" Bei Yutang asked.
The black dragon paused for a moment before speaking, "A partner is a female who stays with you for life."
Since he is so "enlightened", Bei Yutang cannot miss this good opportunity.

"What is love?" Bei Yutang continued to ask.
When the elf chief heard her question, he broke out in a cold sweat. He wondered if this person was too naive and didn't even know what love was.
The black dragon sat and waited for the correct answer from the Elf Chief, but he waited and waited and still didn't get it. He couldn't help but look at him with an urging look in his eyes.
The Elf Chief gave the answer under the urging of the Black Dragon.
After getting the correct answer, Heilong said happily, "Like her. Liking her means wanting to be with her. I feel happy when I see her. That's love."
"What is love?" Bei Yutang asked again.
The elf chief was in a dilemma now. Aren't liking and loving the same thing?
He told the answer to Heilong, and Heilong gave the answer back to Bei Yutang.
"Wrong." Bei Yutang denied it outright.
Black Dragon was dissatisfied, "How can it be wrong?"
"The biggest difference between liking someone and loving them is the degree to which you care about them. Let me ask you, if you see a prey and are chasing it, and a small snake happens to escape, would you chase the prey first or the small snake?"

He was avoiding the problem. The status of the gold, silver and treasures and the little snake began to be equal in his mind. Just a little more would tilt the scales in his heart.
Bei Yutang no longer pressed him to answer the question. "From the two questions I just asked you, I can tell how you feel about Little Snake. You like her, but you don't love her."
"What is love? When you are willing to exchange all your gold, silver and treasures for her life, it means you have fallen in love with her."
