The man sat down on the sofa, and the girl next to him immediately poured him a glass of red wine and stood quietly beside him.
Groups of five stood before him, and the man examined each of them with the eyes of a commodity to be appraised.
"Take them all away." The man looked at the group of candidates and said coldly.
The black-clad bodyguards immediately escorted them out of the room.
Only one person was left in the second group, and the rest were taken away.
Three people remained in the third group.
Bei Yutang and Annie are in group six.
By the time it was their turn, half the people in the room were gone.
The man's critical eyes swept across their faces. When he met Bei Yutang's eyes, his gaze paused for a second and then looked away.
"She, she." The man pointed at the woman on the far left and then at Annie.
The man glanced back and forth between Bei Yutang and the other person, and finally pointed at Bei Yutang, "And her."
Two other women were taken away.
After the screening, a woman took the selected women into a large pool.
A middle-aged woman said to them coldly, "I'll give you half an hour to clean yourselves. If anyone hasn't cleaned themselves after half an hour, don't blame me for being rude."
Annie whispered, "Tang, what are they going to do?"
"I don't know. Now listen to her."
Even though he knew it in his heart, he couldn't tell her.
Anne nodded.
Half an hour later, everyone in their bathrobes lined up in front of the middle-aged woman. The middle-aged woman raised her hand slightly, and the girl behind her pulled open a curtain, revealing a row of clothes behind it.
"Pick out the clothes that suit you best and I'll give you ten minutes to put them on. Those who don't will do so at their own risk."
A group of them walked forward, someone picked up one of the clothes, and after seeing the style of the clothes clearly, they immediately threw the clothes back on the hanger.
"What kind of clothes are these?"
"This dress is totally unwearable."
