Chapter 9 Mother, I'm Not Hungry

Bei Yutang looked at him, almost paralyzed with fear, and felt that the original owner, Mu Zhitao, was truly despicable. This was her son, not her enemy. How could there be such a vicious mother in the world?

[This system will allow you to see many more people who are a hundred times more vicious than this.]

Bei Yutang was startled by the sudden voice in her mind.

It turns out that the system has not left yet.

[Once bound, this system will stay with the host until the host dies.]

This weird thing called a system, could it read her mind? It actually knew what she was thinking?

"This system is not called a ghost thing." A mechanical, emotionless voice replied coldly.

Bei Yutang already understood that this system could see into her thoughts, so she remained silent.

The little boy didn't see his mother get angry, nor did he wait for the stick. He raised his head timidly and glanced at Bei Yutang secretly. He saw Bei Yutang pick up the broom beside him and sweep the broken dishes aside.

Mother didn't beat him?!

The little girl was so surprised that she just stood there dumbfounded, watching Bei Yutang clean up the kitchen. As a daughter of a wealthy family, she had never done such work before, but at this moment, she had no right to be willful, no right to choose.

After a rough cleanup of the kitchen, it looked a little bit better. After doing these few things, the body was gasping for breath.

Bei Yutang opened the bag and stopped when he looked at the flour inside.

She had never cooked before and had no idea how to do it. Bei Yutang looked at the little bun with some embarrassment, and the little bun was still standing there in shock.

"Zimo, you come and cook."

Hearing Bei Yutang calling him, the little boy didn't dare hesitate. If his mother didn't spank him now, he might get spanked later. Now, if he just behaved, his mother might forget what had just happened and stop spanking him.

"What do you want to eat, Mom?" the little bun asked cautiously.

"Whatever." Under this condition, it doesn't matter what you eat.

The little guy skillfully scooped a ladle of water, poured a little water into it, and began to knead the dough. After the dough was ready, he set it aside to ferment, and then started to light the fire.

Bei Yutang stood aside and watched, looking at the small, thin body, skillfully doing things that he should not have done.

The pan was hot, and Xiao Baozi formed the dough into a big pancake and stuck it on the pan. It was a thin piece and soon cooked through. The aroma of flour wafted out of the pan.

With that little bit of flour, the little bun made six pancakes in his hands.

The plain flatbread had no flavor at all. My old self wouldn't have even bothered to look at it, but now, when I put it in my mouth, I found it incredibly sweet.

The little boy looked at the white, fragrant bread, his eyes full of longing, but he knew his mother wouldn't give him any. The little guy squatted silently in the corner, lowering his eyelids, trying to minimize his presence.

Bei Yutang saw the little bun huddled in the corner, not moving, and frowned slightly, "Mo'er, come and have some cake."

"Mom, I'm not hungry." The little boy didn't dare to reach out to take it.

He was afraid that what would fall into his hand the next moment would not be a pancake but a slap.

The little guy was tortured to this point by Mu Zhitao, and a person like that is really not worthy of being a mother. Bei Yutang walked forward and put the bread in the little guy's hand, but when she saw the wood ash on the little guy's hand, she did not put the bread down.
