Uncle Wang and Mrs. Jiang stood outside the door, looking worried.
"The young master has locked himself in his room for a whole day and night. If he continues like this, his body won't be able to take it." Mrs. Jiang was worried. "Can you think of a solution?"
Uncle Wang looked helpless. "What can I do? I've said everything I need to say. It all depends on whether the young master can listen to it."
Since returning yesterday, Jiang Li has locked himself in the room, refusing to eat or drink. If this continues for a long time, even the strongest body will not be able to withstand such torture.
When they were racking their brains to think of how to persuade Jiang Li, the door opened and Jiang Li walked out of the room.
"Young Master." A look of surprise flashed in the eyes of Uncle Wang and Mrs. Jiang.
"Bring some food over." After Jiang Li finished speaking, he went straight to the next room. He didn't say anything extra and didn't even glance at them.
Mrs. Jiang happily went downstairs and asked the chef to prepare food, but Uncle Wang looked suspicious.
"Do you think the young master is weird?" Uncle Wang asked.
"Strange? The young master is just in a bad mood, don't think too much about it. I'm going to ask the kitchen to get some food." Mrs. Jiang ignored him and left in a hurry.
Uncle Wang turned his head and glanced at the room where the young master was. He felt that something was wrong, but he couldn't tell why.
The next day, Jiang Li showed up at the company on time.
The secretary handed over a document. "Mr. Jiang, we've already investigated. The perpetrators are Zhang Ling'er and Dai Xiaoyue."
Jiang Li waved his hand to signal him to leave, "Zhang Ling'er, Dai Xiaoyue."
He muttered, his eyes narrowed dangerously.
In a dimly lit room, two women lay bound on the ground, unable to move or make a sound, until steady footsteps echoed in the distance.
With a "click", the lights came on and the two women subconsciously closed their eyes. After they adjusted to the light, they could see the person clearly.
"Wuwuwu." Zhang Linger struggled excitedly.
Dai Xiaoyue, on the other hand, looked calm.
At Jiang Li's signal, a man in black tore off the bandages on their mouths.
"Jiang Li, what are you doing? Let me go!" Zhang Linger shouted anxiously.
Jiang Li looked at her indifferently, "When she was tied up like this by you, did she feel the same as you do now, scared and helpless?" As he spoke, his face became gloomier.
"What do you mean?" Zhang Linger's eyes flickered guiltily.
Jiang Li didn't bother to waste any more time talking to her. "Pull out their nails."
Zhang Linger and Dai Xiaoyue's expressions changed. The fingers are connected to the heart, and just by listening, they know how painful it would be to have their nails pulled out.
Dai Xiaoyue said hurriedly, "Jiang Li, the kidnapping of Bei Yutang was all planned by Zhang Ling'er. She forced me to do it. I am innocent, please let me go."
Zhang Linger's eyes widened. "Dai Xiaoyue, you really slandered me just as Bei Yutang suspected. Jiang Li, she was the one who instigated me. She was the one who killed Bei Yutang."
"Zhang Linger, how can you talk nonsense? It was obviously you who forced Bei Yutang to leave Jiang Li. You were jealous of her getting Jiang Li's love, and when Bei Yutang didn't agree to you, you were going to kill her. I was afraid of something happening, so I tried my best to stop you. But, but in the end you succeeded." Dai Xiaoyue spoke, tears rolling down her eyes.
Zhang Linger was furious. "You lied! You're a liar who's full of lies."
