The court physician gave Su Wanti the prescription that the imperial physician had written for Old Madam An. After Su Wanti made some minor changes, the court physician went to get the medicine and prepare it.
Half an hour later, the maid brought the boiled medicine. The dark brown medicine had a sour smell and emitted white hot steam.
Old Madam An pinched her nose and drank the medicine. In just a quarter of an hour, she broke out in a hot sweat, which seemed to wash away all the congestion in her body.
After sweating, Mrs. An felt her body instantly lightened.

Su Wanti was silent for a moment, then said, "I do have a wish, but I want to tell this wish to the old lady alone."
Old Madam An gave the nanny a wink, and the nanny dismissed everyone, then closed the door tightly and stood guard at the door herself.
At this time, only Su Wanti and Madam An were left in the room.
It was quiet all around, and the air was filled with the fresh and elegant fruity scent of bergamot.
"Good boy, it's quiet now, go ahead and speak." Old Madam An had kind eyes and looked at Su Wanti with an exceptionally gentle gaze.
