Cais had no idea whether what Wange said was true or not, but he certainly wouldn't dare to make any rash moves in the coming year.
Caius took Kahn away.
Lord An stood beside Wan Ge, then turned back to look at her one last time: "Why doesn't Your Majesty just kill them?"
Beasts of Cais and Kahn's caliber are clearly leaders among beasts. If we kill them, wouldn't the beasts be leaderless?
Wan Ge turned to look at Lord An, and then replied, "You saw Cais's reaction of doing anything for his brother, didn't you?"
Lord An nodded.
Wan Ge spoke again: "I used to indiscriminately exterminate alien beasts, partly because they were our enemies, and partly because I felt they had no emotions."
But when I saw Cais, I realized that many strange beasts also have emotions; they are sentient beings with thoughts.
We've eliminated many alien beasts, but we've also lost many of our comrades. The number of our people with supernatural abilities is dwindling. If this continues, I worry that by then we'll have very few people with supernatural abilities left, but the alien beasts will never be eradicated. How will we survive then? What will happen to our descendants?
Now there is an opportunity for peace, not just for them, but for us as well. Do you understand?
The pain inflicted by the beasts can never be erased, and the wounds suffered should be remembered. But a chance for peace is what the warriors who fought endlessly longed for; now is the time to rest and recuperate.

…
In the year that followed, Wan Ge and Jing Chen got married. Jing Chen's ice-type superpowers became increasingly powerful, and some people even worried that Jing Chen's power might lead him to have inappropriate thoughts.
However, they later discovered that Jing Chen didn't want anything at all; all he wanted to do was stay by His Majesty's side.
On a planet far away from them, Cais watched his younger brother suffer unbearable pain during his attack and finally injected him with the medicine that Wan Ge had sent a few days earlier.
Caius kept this from Kahn because he was worried that Kahn might do something rash because he had become his weakness.
But now that it's acting up, will Kahn know? But when Kahn woke up, he found that he had no idea.
Cais handed the vial to the doctor, but the doctor discovered that it contained a special substance that they did not know. Perhaps only Wange knew what it was and where it came from.
Because of his brother, Caius had to compromise, but at this moment, Wange extended an olive branch to him, an olive branch in which humans and beasts could achieve a win-win situation.
They will provide each other with some technical support, as well as information about the planets, and other miscellaneous things.
Cais initially thought it was a conspiracy, but later discovered that they had indeed achieved a win-win situation; at least for now, it seemed that Wange was not doing anything to harm the alien beasts.
His desire to invade the main planet was actually driven by a desire for a better life for his fellow human beings, and this desire was slowly becoming a reality. Caius also felt that perhaps he could let go of some things a little.
…
In the third year of his collaboration with Wan Ge, Cais returned to the main planet, but this time he was there as the Lord of Beasts to sign some agreements.
Caius saw that many people were angry with him, and some even loathed him, but he didn't care at all.
