When Wan Ge woke up in the morning, Shen Yanchen was already up. Wan Ge felt that the other person seemed to have something to say to her.
However, the other party did not speak, and Wan Ge was not in a hurry to wait for the other party to take the initiative.
Just before Shen Yanchen was about to leave for work, he reached out and hugged her, pinning her against the door. His deep eyes looked at her, and in a low, husky voice, he asked, "Shall we get married?"
Wan Ge answered directly, "Okay, when do you plan to do it?"
Shen Yanchen said that he would take care of things soon and then spend more time getting married and spending time with her, giving her a satisfying honeymoon trip.
Wan Ge replied with an "okay".
She knew the other person would do it.
…
Just as Shen Yanchen was starting to plan how to buy things for the wedding, Wan Ge began to make her own moves.
Shen Yanchen also went to work early, and kissed her on the forehead again before leaving.
At noon, Wan Ge called the other party, but they didn't answer, probably because they were still very busy at that time.
Wan Ge didn't know whether he meant it by making time for her or if this was just how he normally was, because sometimes when he brought his own lunch over, the other person would only eat a couple of bites and then go to a meeting with his subordinates.
Seeing that the other party didn't answer her call, Wan Ge went directly to his company.
Because she is the president's fiancée, and Wan Ge has visited many times before, no one stops her. When they see her, they respectfully address her as Miss Yang.
As Shen Yanchen stepped out of her office, she saw Wan Ge approaching again. Seemingly assuming she was there to bring her lunch again, she said, "I have to go to a meeting now, I'll be back later."
Wan Ge looked at the person in front of her, and then softly said, "I have something to tell you."
Shen Yanchen simply patted her head, said "good girl," and then went to the conference room with her assistant.
Wan Ge sighed, a faint, helpless smile on her lips. Actually, she didn't necessarily have to leave today; she had originally wanted to talk to the other person and see how they were behaving.
But for now, never mind.
Wan Ge walked into his office, placed lunch on his desk, and put the letter she had written underneath it.
Another assistant, seeing Wan Ge come out and seemingly about to leave, instinctively asked, "Is Miss Yang leaving now?"
As usual, Wan Ge would wait until the afternoon, until Shen Yanchen got off work, before leaving with her.
Wan Ge gave a soft "hmm" and didn't say much to her assistant, her face still bearing a faint smile. The assistant's impression was that the president's fiancée was incredibly gentle and didn't put on airs when speaking to them. Although she still had a somewhat unapproachable air about her, she inexplicably gave off a very nice impression.
…
After finishing the meeting, Shen Yanchen opened the office door but did not see Wan Ge waiting there. His assistant seemed to know what he was thinking and said softly, "Miss Yang left after putting her things down."
Shen Yan hummed in agreement and slowly walked in, picking up the lunch the other party had prepared for him. His usually cold face softened for once, and at that moment he also noticed the letter that had been hidden away.
Although there was nothing written on the envelope, he knew it was from Wan Ge. Thinking about what she had said to him, he wondered what kind of surprise his fiancée had in store for him.
