Wan Ge gently ran her fingertips through his hair and continued, "I'm so lucky to be with you."
When Gu Sichen heard her say that, his heart skipped a beat, and he opened his mouth... but in the end, he didn't ask the question.
Seeing that he seemed to want to say something to her, Wan Ge took the initiative to ask, "What's wrong? Is there anything you want to tell me?"
Gu Sichen shook his head; he still didn't have the courage.
…
At first, Wan Ge thought that since Gu Sichen hadn't joined that production crew, it wasn't a big problem, and no one could get any information about him through that.
However, some specific storylines will still appear no matter how they are changed.
Because Wan Ge has been very busy these past few days and probably doesn't have time to spend with him, Gu Sichen spends most of his time at home.
One morning, he had just woken up and was about to send a message to Wan Ge when he suddenly heard a knock on the door.
When he opened the door, he found his manager there. His manager handed him an envelope: "This was specially given to you by someone. It should have been handled as a gift from a fan, but I felt that person was acting strangely. He said he wanted to give it to you personally and that you should be the only one to see it."
He had actually thought about opening it himself to see what it was, but he felt it wasn't a good idea, so he decided to see what Gu Sichen thought.
Gu Sichen placed his long, slender hand on the envelope, opened it, glanced at its contents, and then, seemingly unconcerned, casually placed it on the table.
"Is there nothing wrong?" Although the agent hadn't seen what was inside, his reaction suggested it wasn't anything important.
Gu Sichen hummed in agreement, then replied to his agent, "They are some of my photos, nothing to worry about."
The agent also took a look, and indeed they all seemed to be photos. One of them, which showed half of him, was indeed a photo of him alone, and there was nothing strange about it.
The agent frowned slightly: "I thought it was something important, but it's just this. If there's nothing else, I'll leave now. Call me again if you have any questions."
Gu Sichen replied with an "okay," and then watched his agent leave.
Only after the agent left did Gu Sichen's gaze return to the envelope, and he immediately reached out and picked it up again.
He looked at the contents of the envelope, and the letter at the very bottom.
You might not notice anything wrong with his photos at first glance, but if you compare the two photos in the order they are placed, you'll find that they seem a bit different.
These photos are all his, so he certainly knows best what the problem is.
These are photos of his two personalities; the first one shows his gentle personality, and the second one shows a completely different one. This person actually managed to distinguish between them, and besides these photos, there is other evidence as well.
The last paragraph of the letter included a phone number.
…
In a corner of the city, a man stared intently at his phone until it finally responded.
However, he didn't answer immediately. He waited until the phone rang a second time before answering.
A pleasant male voice came from the other end of the phone: "Who are you? What is your purpose?"
It was obvious that the man who answered the phone was using a voice changer, and he had changed from being anxiously waiting for the call to appearing very relaxed.
