Chapter 17 The Handsome Young Villain with Depression

Overwhelmed by work and the blow of losing his wife, Mr. Chu finally collapsed from exhaustion. Seeing his father like this, Chu Yunshu felt even more guilty.

He silently shut himself off. It wasn't that he was afraid of Mr. Chu, nor did he hate him. He just felt very sorry for him, felt particularly bad for taking away the person he loved most.

The teenager was already depressed because of self-blame, and the depression made him even more self-blaming, so he felt guilty whenever he saw his father.

He didn't know how to face his father; he just felt that whatever he did was wrong, and that his actions would only make his father unhappy.

Moreover, the guilt in his heart made it impossible for him to appear in front of his father. Once he did, he would feel ashamed and embarrassed.

Madam Chu's actions really can't be blamed on Chu Yunshu. Children naturally like ice cream, and he rarely goes out and sees it anyway.

Furthermore, vehicles are not normally allowed in such parks, and the car only entered because it lost control.

It seems like an accident, so no one can be blamed. But Wange thinks the person most to blame is the author who wrote this plot. What was this wicked author thinking?! To create a villain, they broke up a family. To write a tragedy, they killed the female lead in a car accident. It's completely absurd.

The ultimate cure for depression is not escapism, but facing it with equanimity. When Chu Yunshu can truly face Mr. Chu naturally one day, perhaps he will truly be completely cured.

Wan Ge lay quietly beside him, gently taking his hand in hers to give him a sense of security and help him sleep more soundly.

I don’t know if it’s just my imagination, but I feel like he looks much better these days since I’ve been by his side. Maybe it’s because he’s been going to bed and eating on time.

Chu Yunshu slept soundly through the night without any dreams, and when he woke up, the person next to him was still quietly with their eyes closed.

Chu Yunshu looked at their tightly clasped hands. He had a strange sense of security when he was sleeping, and now he seemed to have found the source of that security.

Chu Yunshu moved closer to her, resting his head on her shoulder, a faint smile on his lips.

He didn't mean to smile; it was just a natural curve that appeared when he was relaxed and in a good mood.

Wan Ge also sensed that the person next to her had woken up, so she opened her eyes and whispered a good morning to him.

This feeling is so wonderful. Chu Yunshu wished it could last forever, that he could sleep soundly by her side, and that when he woke up he could see her gentle face and hear her soft voice speaking to him.

——

With medication and the comforting companionship of those around him, Chu Yunshu suddenly realized that he hadn't shed a tear in a long time.

Because of this illness, he would often shed tears in the middle of the night. He didn't know why he was crying, but the tears just kept falling one by one.

But ever since Wan Ge came into his life, he seems to have never cried again.

Chu Yunshu used to feel a sudden, inexplicable pang of discomfort when sitting down, but now it seems to be much less frequent. Apart from the occasional fear and timidity, Chu Yunshu seems to be feeling much better.

However, this disease requires a long treatment period, and some problems also need to be addressed as soon as possible.

So one day, while Chu Yunshu was taking a nap, Wan Ge had a private chat with Mr. Chu.
