Wan Ge smiled faintly; the young lady really had a sweet tongue.
Qina is quite cute and very pretty, with pure eyes that suggest she's a simple and innocent young lady. Her clean aura is also strangely comforting.
No wonder Cisel accepted Qina's advances in the story; who could refuse such a friendly young lady?
Qina had actually been preparing for Wan Ge's visit for the past two days. She was dazed when she woke up because she wasn't fully awake yet.
He had actually considered that Wan Ge might not come, since everyone knew she was about to become queen. She might not be finished with her work and wouldn't be able to come, but she did, and Qina felt incredibly happy.
However, some arrangements were cancelled because of Cecilia's arrival, as she couldn't imagine that the noble and difficult-to-get-along-with His Majesty would do such things with them.
…
…
Wange and Xisel sat in Qina's garden. Wange felt that the flowers in the heroine's garden were blooming quite well, and they could grow well even without the little elves.
Qina went to check if the maids had finished making the pastries. When she returned, she saw Wange patting His Majesty's head, seemingly trying to comfort him.
Qina thought of the solemn His Majesty who had just stood before them, and found it hard to imagine that he would be like this now, like a docile big dog accepting the comfort of someone he likes.
But then Cisel looked over, and Qina silently retracted her earlier thought. His Majesty could also be described as a wolf; aside from being loyal and docile to those he deemed worthy, he radiated ferocity towards everyone else, and a single glance from him could send chills down one's spine.
The maid behind Qina obediently placed the pastries on the table, replaced the teapot, and then quietly withdrew.
Qina sat back down in her original spot, a faint smile still on her face: "Miss Axel, this is a pastry I developed recently. Please try it."
Wan Ge replied with an "okay," then took a small bite. The soft, sweet flavor instantly filled her mouth, sweet but not cloying, with a faint floral fragrance: "It's delicious."
While singing, Wan Ge also handed it to the person next to her, letting them try it.
Qina looked at His Majesty and bit the spot where Wan Ge had just bitten.
Wan Ge only realized she shouldn't have given him the food she had bitten when she saw Qina's slightly surprised expression.
But with so many lovers across different worlds, she didn't know how many things she had bitten herself had eaten, so Wan Ge still subconsciously handed it to him, forgetting to give him a new one that hadn't been bitten.
Cecilia didn't seem to care, only replying that it was alright, but that she already had an idea.
…
Qina smiled and waved goodbye to them.
But she still felt a little wronged. She had some little secrets she wanted to ask Wange, but Xisel was always by her side, so she couldn't bring herself to say them. She hoped that she could talk to Wange about them next time she saw her.
Wan Ge boarded the carriage and headed straight for the palace, but halfway there they heard a commotion. The coachman then said to them, "Your Majesty, there's a fight ahead, we..."
These people are outrageous! They dare to block His Majesty's carriage! Don't they value their lives?
