Does the school heartthrob villain need help? 5. 6. 7. 8

Hearing him mention saving him back then, Ye Yanmeng reached out and flicked her hair, looking selfless, and said righteously, "I didn't ask for anything when I saved you back then, you don't need to be so polite."

"How can that be? Give me your mother's address, and I'll have someone arrange it immediately."

Ye Yanmeng seemed to hesitate for a long time before finally giving the address to Si Yu. She then bit her lip and said, "Thank you. The doctor said my mother's condition is very complicated. I don't know what to do if it weren't for you."

"Don't worry, leave this to me. You're here for dinner, right? Go on ahead."

"Okay, see you at our school." Ye Yanmeng waved to him with a blush, but her expression changed immediately after she turned around, and she looked smug.

Si Yu's smile vanished completely in that instant.

When she looked up and saw Wan Ge, she seemed to only then remember that there was such a person. Her expression immediately froze.

Wan Ge looked at him with a faint smile and then asked, "Would it be convenient for you to take me back to school?"

"Okay." Si Yu nodded.

The two didn't exchange many words along the way, and Wan Ge didn't ask him about Ye Yanmeng.

Si Yu's hand, which was resting on the door handle, remained clenched into a fist until they reached the school gate.

The driver offered to take her back to her dormitory, but Wange refused.

It's only a ten-minute walk; she can walk back slowly, so there's no need to be so polite.

As she got out of the car, Si Yu said again, "Come to my house for dinner sometime. My mom keeps talking about you."

"Okay." Wan Ge smiled at him again, waved goodbye, and then turned and left.

After Wan Ge left, the atmosphere in the car became even more silent. Si Yu remained silent for several minutes. Finally, the driver couldn't bear the atmosphere any longer and cautiously asked, "Young Master, are you alright?"

Because of his leg injury, Si Yu has never been very talkative, but he is not bad to them and does not take his temper out on them.

Although he was silent, the atmosphere had been alright before. It was the first time I had seen this young master like this. He didn't have any expression and didn't say anything, but there was a strange sense of oppression about him.

Si Yu snapped out of her reverie upon hearing the driver's voice, simply saying softly, "Let's go home," before falling silent again.

He goes home because he doesn't have classes in the afternoon.

…

When I got home, Mrs. Si was sitting on the swing in the garden, with a table next to her laden with snacks and fruit. There were two cups on the table, indicating that my mother hadn't been alone in the garden.

When Madam Si saw her son return, she quickly went up to him and said, "My little one, you're back. Are you tired? Uncle He has made some new desserts. Would you like to try some?"

"Okay," Si Yu replied in a deep voice.

Mrs. Si naturally took the wheelchair handles and pushed her son toward the garden.

"I met Sister Wan Ge today." Si Yu suddenly said this on the way.

Mrs. Si was taken aback, not expecting her son to bring this up suddenly: "I told you before, she goes to the same school as you, so it's not surprising that you ran into her. Did you two talk about it?"

If the son suddenly brought it up, then they must have done something else besides kendo, right?

"I had dinner with her and invited her to come over for dinner next time," Si Yu continued.

Mrs. Si felt somewhat incredulous that her son had actually invited her to dinner. Were they really that close?

She was also good friends with Wan Ge's mother, and the two families had been close friends for generations, so their relationship was exceptionally good until Si Yu was in a car accident and became disabled in both legs.

In order not to delay Wan Ge, they proposed to break off the engagement.

Even after the engagement was called off, the two families still had business dealings and maintained contact. She and Wan Ge's mother had even traveled together before.

I've met Wan Ge quite a few times. After she went to university, Mrs. Si invited her to have dinner at her house.

However, during the initial period after the start of the semester, Wan Ge was very busy with her studies and didn't have time to come over.

Later, Madam Si never brought it up again, and Wan Ge was too embarrassed to bring it up herself, so the matter was left unresolved.

"That's great." Mrs. Si said with a smile, "You two were able to play together when you were little, so you'll probably remain friends when you grow up."

Si Yu looked at his mother, a serious look in his eyes: "Perhaps it's not just about being friends."

After Si Yu said those words, Madam Si paused for a moment.

No one could love her son more than she did. Even though her son's health was no longer perfect, he would always be the best in her and her husband's hearts.

However, they were also well aware of their son's condition, so they didn't want him to get hurt.

They initiated the annulment of the engagement, and that was the reason.

She didn't want others to bring it up later, creating an awkward situation and damaging the relationship between the two families. She also didn't want to force the marriage to continue, which could lead to Wan Ge developing a dislike for her son and causing him further emotional distress.

"You like Wan Ge? But don't you like that other girl? What's her name again? Ye Yanmeng, right? Don't you like her?" Madam Si looked confused.

"I don't like Ye Yanmeng." He had never liked her.

Was his acting too convincing? Even his mother thought he liked Ye Yanmeng.

"But you... you're so good to her, don't you like her?" Mrs. Si was a little confused. Her son said that the other girl saved his life, so he had always been exceptionally good to her, a little too good, to the point that they all thought he liked that girl.
