Young Master, Don't Go (17)

Back then, just when they thought the Shi family would dominate the martial arts world, a disagreement arose within the Shi family, causing the Canglan Pavilion to split and giving rise to the Linjing Pavilion.

Linjing Pavilion took away some of its disciples, making them think that something big had happened to both families, and that they might both suffer heavy losses.

They are quite happy to see this scenario; as long as one sect doesn't dominate, other sects will still have a chance.

Unexpectedly, the separation did not severely damage Canglan Pavilion. It still maintained its momentum and stood at the peak again, but it was different from before. However, it was still an existence that no one dared to provoke.

They believed that as long as both sides were still around, they would inevitably regard each other as enemies, and only by keeping each other in check could they possibly have a place in the martial arts world.

But now they're suddenly being told that the other party doesn't see each other as enemies at all, and is even a very good family.

Good heavens, so all their previous misunderstandings were just an illusion. They're actually on good terms; not only are they not enemies, but they're family. Now, it seems they're even planning to help the Shadow Cult.

They all turned their attention to Shi Lan instead of Shi Xingyi, because they knew that since Shi Xingyi firmly stated that the other party was his future wife, he would definitely not change his mind.

But they always felt that Shi Lan shouldn't be like this, shouldn't stand on the same side as Shi Xingyi. How could the righteous Canglan Pavilion help an evil cult?

“Shi Lan, don’t do anything foolish. You still treat him like family. You should guide him onto the right path instead of watching him degenerate like this. You should persuade him to join our side.”

Shi Lan laughed immediately, holding several stacks of papers in her hand, all of which contained descriptions of the dirty deeds of each sect.

Shi Lan threw the papers directly at them, and the scattered papers fell into the hands of different people: "You people dare to talk about the righteous path."

Of course, some of them were true gentlemen, while others were previously indifferent to worldly affairs; their expressions changed when they saw the contents of the paper.

"You! You! Shameless! Humph!" One of the reclusive masters was so enraged that he threw down the paper in his hand and turned to leave.

He has never liked crowds and only knows how to practice martial arts. He learned martial arts from his master in the deep mountains when he was very young. His master taught him that martial arts practitioners should be chivalrous and righteous. So when the leader of the martial arts alliance sent him a letter asking him to come out of the mountains to help, he saw what the Shadow Cult had done written on the paper and decided to come out of the mountains.

He intended to uphold justice, but almost ended up helping these despicable people.

Shi Xingyi glanced at it and said, "Not bad, you've written so many pages."

Shi Lan wrote down some of her excessive actions on a large sheet of paper, but in smaller characters, since one sheet of paper couldn't possibly contain all of her many worlds.

There were also some things that Shi Xingyi investigated but didn't write down. Those weren't as bad, but they were still unpleasant.

“I knew you’d turn against them today. We need to be reasonable and have evidence.”

Apart from the reclusive master from before, the other truly righteous people also left, their faces flushed with anger.

"Shi Lan! Shi Xingyi! You! You've gone too far!" one of the sect leaders exclaimed. "This is all slander!"
