Does the school heartthrob villain need help? 14

After listening to Si Yu and Ye Yanmeng's phone conversation, Wan Ge took a sip of her floral tea. Only after they finished talking and hung up did Wan Ge slowly speak: "Did you know that Ye Yanmeng is dating recently?"

Wan Ge's words were a test, but not to see if Si Yu liked him; rather...

"Really? Who is she dating?" Si Yu's reaction was relatively calm.

After that first time, Si Yu stopped pretending to like Ye Yanmeng in front of him.

When we were on the phone, my tone was softer, but my face was expressionless.

Wan Ge just smiled and didn't continue speaking; she already knew his reaction.

It seems Si Yu knows about this, but he doesn't seem to have any intention of taking action right now.

Wan Ge didn't mince words with him, propping her head up as she looked at him and said, "You're not going to stop it?"

"Why should I stop it?" Si Yu looked at Wan Ge with her beautiful eyes, but this time she was not calm.

"You don't like her?" Wan Ge could sense that the other person might bring it up to her directly.

"I don't like her." Si Yu's tone was particularly certain.

"They all say you like her, so it seems the rumors aren't true."

“But I don’t think you would think I like her.” Si Yu made his point very clearly again.

Wan Ge nodded: "That's good. You're not pretending in front of me anymore. If I still don't understand, then I'm a fool."

"Then do you know why I stopped pretending?" Si Yu asked with a smile.

Just then, Madam Si's voice came from downstairs: "Wange, come down quickly."

Wan Ge glanced at Si Yu and replied, "I don't know."

Then he walked right past him and headed downstairs, answering Madam Si's call as he went: "Coming, Auntie."

Wan Ge walked down the stairs and saw a very familiar face—a face that the original owner of the body recognized very well: "Mom, what brings you here? You didn't even tell me you were coming. And you came to Auntie's house, what, isn't your daughter important to you?"

"You silly child."

Madam Jing smiled and said to Si, "That's just how she is, I hope you don't find it amusing."

Mrs. Si then replied, "Do we need to say such things? Besides, I think what Wan Ge said was quite good. I really like Wan Ge."

"You!" Madam Jing glared at Madam Si.

Then she explained to her daughter, "I was going to send you a message before I came, but your Aunt Si told me you were here, so I came directly."

"So that's how it is."

"What else? Would I not want you?" Madam Jing playfully pinched her daughter's nose.

Wan Ge hugged her again.

Madam Jing seemed to remember something: "Oh right, you've finished your experiment?"

She saw a message from her best friend that her daughter had been coming quite frequently in the last two months.

They were nearing the end of the semester, so the evening song experiment should be almost complete.

Wan Ge nodded: "There are still some small data points that I've handed over to other students to work on, so I've been relatively free lately."

"Is winter vacation coming soon?" Madam Jing looked out the window, where the roses were in particularly bright bloom.

But they've already had many snowfalls over there.

"Yes, winter break is coming soon. I can go home after the exams in two weeks."

At this moment, Madam Si spoke up: "I think we should just not go back, and spend the New Year in G City. Your aunt will cook you some delicious food by herself."
