Expert, can you help me out? (50, 51, 52)

After having breakfast, they quickly arrived at Ling Ni's house.

Ling Ni's father was nowhere to be found, and she hadn't seen him, but her mother had been waiting.

When Ms. Ling saw the two of them appear, the smile in her eyes seemed impossible to hide.

She walked up to Chi Lingyu and said, "Ayu is so grown up now. I only saw him briefly at the Song family's house last time, and I didn't even get a good look at him."

Chi Lingyu obediently called her "Auntie," and then replied, "Now Auntie can take a good look at me. I've grown up and am as tall as Daddy."

Ms. Ling nodded: "When you grow up, you look a lot like your father, and also a lot like your mother."

The other person seemed to have combined the best features of both of them; he was truly handsome. She knew that her sister and brother-in-law's child would definitely not be bad-looking.

But she's just too good-looking!

If Ling Ni had grown up with such a cousin, she would probably have been more discerning in choosing men in the future and wouldn't have been almost deceived by such a man.

“I am my parents’ child, so of course I look like them.”

"Yes, yes, yes." Ms. Ling nodded quickly again.

Wan Ge handed the gift to the maid beside her. Ms. Ling also saw this scene and said to the two of them, "In the future, when you come to your aunt's house, just treat it as your own home. You don't need to bring gifts."

Wan Ge sat down next to Ms. Ling and then answered her question: "Since you are our aunt, it's normal for us to bring some things for our aunt, right? What matters most is that our aunt likes them."

"You child, how can you be so good with words?" Ms. Ling stroked her hand again, and her mind also recalled some things about Wan Ge.

And it was her own daughter who told her that if it weren't for Wan Ge reminding her, she might have already been completely fooled by that scumbag.

Hey! Is the fate of that mother and daughter because you got too caught up in love?

Ms. Ling doesn't actually regret the hardships she endured; she only regrets cutting ties completely back then. Was she too ruthless? Will her father hate her?

The thing she regrets least is giving birth to Ling Ni; to her, this precious child is also her most beloved daughter.

Wan Ge and Chi Lingyu didn't go home until after dinner. They had a very pleasant chat, as being in the same circle meant they had a lot in common and talked about many things.

However, there wasn't much discussion about personal matters, and the relationship between the Su and Ling families was completely left unsaid.

In particular, Ms. Ling was very considerate of Chi Lingyu's feelings, so she never mentioned her father at all.

On the way back, Wan Ge sensed that Chi Lingyu seemed to be in a pretty good mood, so she said softly, "You're so happy to see your aunt?"

Chi Lingyu shook his head: "It's not just because I'm happy to see her, but because you came with me to see him, so I'm happy."

Hearing him say that, Wan Ge continued, "So, does that mean we've met each other's parents?"

Chi Lingyu nodded gently, his deep eyes looking at Wan Ge, and replied, "Yes, to me, my aunt is like my parent."

In fact, Chi Lingyu was also reflecting on himself, wondering if it was too bad that he wasn't liked by others.

At times like these, his aunt's image would appear in his mind, encouraging and comforting him, making him believe that he was not so alone.

Wan Ge took his hand and said softly, "In that case, when we get married, we must invite Auntie to the head table."

Chi Lingyu nodded, then suddenly realized that he hadn't proposed or confessed his feelings yet; it seemed like they had just gotten together naturally.

With this in mind, Chi Lingyu decided that he still needed to plan a marriage proposal.

After returning home, Chi Lingyu saw a small red dot on his social media app. When he clicked on it, he found that it was a friend request from his cousin.

He figured that girls understand girls better, so he asked her how to make a marriage proposal the most surprising one.

Since they are mutually in love, she shouldn't refuse his marriage proposal.

Ling Ni didn't expect Chi Lingyu to propose to Wan Ge so soon, but she had met Wan Ge several times and each time she saw her in a different state. Especially after breaking up with Jiang Mize, she was like a completely different person. It's normal for her cousin to be anxious about such an outstanding girl. What if someone else beat her to it?

Ling Ni also inquired about Wan Ge's preferences from Song Xuan. At first, Song Xuan thought that Wan Ge's boyfriend was Jiang Mize.

She frowned slightly. She had just returned to the country and was unaware that Wan Ge and Jiang Mize had already broken up.

So she wasn't very happy at first, but after learning that the other person wasn't Jiang Mize, Song Xuan immediately started discussing it with Ling Ni.

Song Xuan and Ling Ni became friends because they were working together and Song Xuan thought Ling Ni was a pretty good girl. She never expected that Ling Ni would also know Wan Ge and know so much about her.

Later, Ling Ni and Song Xuan thought about their relationships with Wan Ge and Jiang Mize, and Song Xuan suddenly realized that she had missed out on so much.

Have all my friends fallen to this state after I went abroad?

Song Xuan told Ling Ni all of Wan Ge's preferences, and Ling Ni then relayed them to Chi Lingyu.

After discussing it, Song Xuan sent another message to Wan Ge, inviting her to meet for dinner.

When Wan Ge saw the message the other party sent her, she suddenly remembered that the other party had already returned to the country. She had been by Chi Lingyu's side the whole time and had forgotten about it.
