"Wins, what are you thinking about?" Wan Ge stood beside Wins, looking at him as if he were deep in thought.
Wins shook his head, ultimately not asking who the Holy Son meant by "like."
He felt that this was His Majesty's privacy, and perhaps he shouldn't ask about it; he just needed to be sensible and do his job well.
“Come on, I’ll take you to your room.” Wan Ge extended her hand to him again.
Wins instinctively grasped her hand, feeling the warmth in her palm—a strange yet pleasant sensation.
Wins obediently followed Wan Ge, letting him lead him to see the so-called room.
In Wan Ge's memory, there was a room with a huge bathtub.
Wan Ge led the person to that room, looked at the clear water in the bathtub, and said softly, "I will rebuild a room for you. We will still use it at home. For now, you will have to make do."
Wins jumped into the water, his fishtail popping out the moment he entered: "It's okay, as long as it's water."
They weren't picky about the water; seawater is formed from the convergence of countless rivers, many of which were originally freshwater, so Wins didn't feel uncomfortable.
Moreover, he was not an ordinary sea creature, so he wouldn't feel uncomfortable even if he left the water.
"That's good." But Wan Ge didn't give up on building a huge swimming pool to bring in seawater and creating a room that belonged only to him.
"Your Majesty is so kind to me." Wins smiled, his tail gently slapping the water's surface. He didn't know why he was happy; perhaps it was because he hadn't been in the water for several hours, or perhaps it was because he felt the kindness of the person in front of him.
"As long as you're happy." Looking at his beautiful smile, Wan Ge felt her heart skip a beat and her heart started racing.
“I like Your Majesty very much.” Wins said again, but he thought of his liking as the liking between friends, because of the kindness that Wan Ge had shown him.
Wan Ge naturally realized that he didn't mean it that way when he said he liked someone, but she didn't mind and said, "I like Wins very much too."
After finishing her speech, Wan Ge left the room, saying before she left that she would prepare food for him.
Wins knew she must have something important to do, perhaps related to the arrival of the Holy Son, so he didn't stop her.
Thinking about how she had just said she liked him, I felt even happier.
…
About half an hour after Wan Ge left Wins's room, someone knocked on the door and came in. They didn't go through the curtain or look at the bathtub; they simply placed the food on the table quietly.
The deep sea is a cruel world, especially since the mermaid race possesses extraordinary strength, which even giant sea monsters fear.
They are omnivores, eating fish and seaweed.
Despite his great abilities, even after slaying the sea monster, Wins wouldn't eat it. From a young age, he had always had a heart that couldn't bear to harm his own kind.
In his view, fish are of the same kind, so he never eats fish, only seaweed.
After they all left, Wins sat down at the table and discovered that Wange had prepared some seaweed that humans commonly eat. There were also some human foods that Wins had never tried before, so he was curious about them.
