How about I like you? 34. 35. 36

As Wan Ge lay in bed, Rong Li brought in some food: "I noticed you didn't eat properly at the banquet, so I had some prepared."

Wan Ge nodded: "Let's eat together."

"Okay." Rong Li placed the food on the table and arranged the bowls and chopsticks.

Wan Ge got out of bed and ate a few bites. Actually, she wasn't very hungry. Rong Li would always give her something to eat whenever he had the chance. Although she didn't eat much each time, she still ate quite a bit overall.

After the meal, Rong Li helped her remove her makeup, wash her hair, and blow-dry it.

When everything was ready, Rong Li was about to celebrate her wedding night when she was interrupted.

"Wait a minute!" Wan Ge grabbed his hand, preventing him from making the next move.

"What's wrong?" Rong Li's eyes were slightly red at the corners, and his beautiful eyes stared at her without blinking.

Wan Ge gently pushed him away, walked to her bag, took out a piece of paper from the bag, and handed it to Rong Li.

Rong Li looked down and saw a test report. At first, she thought she was sick, and her heart skipped a beat. But after reading the contents, her mind went completely blank, and her fingertips trembled slightly: "You...you're pregnant? We're having a child?"

"Yes? Are you happy?"

"When did this happen? Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Rong Li thought about how the other person had stood with her for so long today. Why didn't she tell her earlier? Didn't she know that pregnant women need to rest more?

If Rong Li had known she was pregnant, he would have postponed the wedding. Luckily, she was able to hold the wedding after giving birth and recovering.

"I only received my test results today. Yesterday, while you were preparing, I felt a little unwell, so I took the opportunity to go to the hospital for a check-up." At that time, she did not wait for the results but asked her assistant to bring them to her the next day.

Wan Ge actually knew her condition before even going to the hospital, but she knew how Rong Li felt. He was still very uneasy, and having a child would put his mind at ease, so she went for the checkup.

I already knew what was going on, so I didn't wait for the results. I planned to tell him today as a wedding gift.

"You should have told me. You're so tired today, are you feeling unwell?"

"It's okay, I feel fine now."

Rong Li patted her head again: "You must be tired after a long day, go to sleep first."

Wan Ge nodded and patted the spot next to him. Rong Li obediently lay down next to him, but was much more reserved than before.

Wan Ge knew he was nervous, so she took the initiative to move closer to him, hug his arm, and close her eyes.

In the middle of the night, Wan Ge woke up groggily and found that no one was beside her and there was no warmth next to her, which meant that the other person had been gone for a while.

There was no sound from the bathroom, which meant he wasn't in the room.

Thinking of this, Wan Ge got up and finally found the person in the study.

Rong Li sat in front of the computer, holding a pen and taking notes diligently.

Wan Ge leaned closer to look and discovered it was about things to be careful about after becoming pregnant.

Looking at the dense text on the notebook, Rong Li must have been writing it all night after he went to sleep.

"Why aren't you asleep yet?" Rong Li turned around when she heard the voice and found that Wan Ge had walked up to her side at some point.

He coughed lightly and replied, "I had some trouble sleeping, so I came here to look up some information."

Wan Ge reached out her hand to him, and Rong Li turned around and hugged her.

Wan Ge leaned gently against him and said, "Let's not watch it now, let's talk about it tomorrow. Let's go to sleep first, I can't sleep without you."

"Okay." Upon hearing her say that, Rong Li immediately turned off the computer and carried her back to the room.

According to their local customs, one should not tell outsiders when one is newly pregnant, but Wan Ge had already told them, so they didn't care about that and told both sets of parents about it the next day.

Madam Rong, who was originally planning to return abroad, looked at her husband and patted him on the shoulder: "Your daughter-in-law is newly pregnant, and our son has no experience. Although we can find an experienced postpartum nanny, I am still a little worried. You should go back, and I will stay to take care of your daughter-in-law."

"Are you going to abandon me?" Mr. Rong looked incredulous, never expecting that his daughter-in-law would abandon him so easily upon hearing that she had a grandson.

"How can you say you're abandoning me? It's just that there are too many things to do abroad, otherwise I would have asked you to stay with me."

"I'll handle it as soon as possible, and I'll make time to be with you then."

"No need, you just focus on earning money for baby formula, I'll take care of things."
