How could my wife not love me?

Knowing that his wife wasn't angry anymore, Jin Chenli happily carried her back to their room.

"Honey, would you like to take a shower first? I can help you."

"Okay." Wan Ge leaned against him, because she was worried about his physical condition and his mental state. Since he was injured, Wan Ge had not had a proper rest.

Now that she knows the other person's injury was fake, she relaxes and the feeling of drowsiness comes over her. Since he's willing to help her, she'll just let him be.

Jin Chenli originally wanted to offer himself to coax her, but he found that Wan Ge had fallen asleep while taking a shower, so he obediently did not move.

After she had taken a bath, I dried her off, dressed her, and put her back on the bed.

He went back to the bathroom and took a cold shower. After coming out, he glanced at his phone, which he had left in the room. It was a message from Si Qifa.

How did it go? Did you manage to appease your sister-in-law?

Jin Chenli immediately blocked the other party, no longer believing his nonsense.

Si Qi harmed him, almost costing him his wife, so he decided to stay away from him.

Si Qi, who was constantly anxious, received no reply to his messages.

At 10 p.m., he looked at his phone, torn between making a voice call or not, but he was worried that it would bother them and make them even angrier.

So after hesitating for a while, I decided to send another message and try again, and then I saw a red exclamation mark.

"Holy crap, Jin Chenli, you blocked me."

But after thinking about it, he still felt quite sorry for Jin Chenli. If it weren't for his bad idea, the other party wouldn't have argued with his wife.

I'll just block him then. I'll go check on him at his place tomorrow. This time, it was definitely his fault.

After returning home, he thought about it and realized that he might have been just as angry if he had been the one deceived.

The next morning, when Wan Ge woke up, she found no one beside her. After going downstairs, she saw the other person setting out breakfast.

Seemingly unaware of her presence, he put out the breakfast and went back into the kitchen, then carried the porridge to the table. Only when he looked up did he see her.

"Honey, get up, I've made breakfast."

"Hmm." Wan Ge walked to the dining table and looked at the man who was putting steamed buns on her plate.

Wan Ge wondered if she should learn more about him. Indeed, apart from knowing that he was quite well-off, she didn't know much about him.

“Ah Li.”

"What's wrong, honey?" Jin Chenli asked nervously when he heard his wife call his name.

My wife shouldn't be angry anymore, right? She shouldn't hold a grudge later, right?

No, if his wife is still angry later, he'll just do what he did yesterday.

"I've reflected on it, and I realize I did make some mistakes. I was too busy with the company and neglected your feelings. I won't do that again. This collaboration is almost in its final stages, and I'll have more time to spend with you after that."

"Okay, I understand. It's my fault. I was afraid to ask you and I was causing trouble when you were so busy with work."

"It's not your fault." Wan Ge reached out her hand, and Jin Chenli obediently leaned his face in.

Wan Ge touched his face: "Also, I want to tell you that I'm marrying you not just because you're good-looking, but because I like you, I really like you."

I married you because I liked you, and I did *that* with you out of love, not for your body.

Jin Chenli obediently rubbed against her hand, and when she heard what he said, she couldn't hide the joy on her face: "Really?"

Seeing his delight, Wan Ge asked curiously, "Then why do you like me so much?"
